"This. Is. Awesome." Evelyn said as she glanced around the room.
The dorm had 2 floors, well the second floor was more of a bedroom only. After Evelyn stepped in, she noticed there was a kitchen with a marble table and a wooden shelf with beautiful clean white dishes and plates.
There's even a lounge on the left with a soft couch that feels like a fluffy cloud when you sit down. When you walk a bit from the kitchen, there is a room made of wood without a door but an opening. If you need privacy, you just draw your curtain attached to the opening and it works like a door.
Inside the room is a simple cozy bed with a nightstand and some book shelves at the foot of the bed with a closet. In front of the lounge is a wooden staircase with glass railings leading to the other bedroom.The second bedroom also has a nice bed and a little desk. It had a big window with a closet next to it. Inside the closet are clothes that their parents and grandparents have already mailed to Ixtal in air tight bags and the book shelf is full of books.
"Hey Evelyn, which room do you want?" Amber asked.
"Umm... the second floor one maybe?" Evelyn replied.
"Ok, I wanted the downstairs one anyway." Amber made her way across the miniscule living room.
"We should unpack." Evelyn suggested.
"Agreed," Amber said.
She brought her blue suitcase up the stairs and started to unpack all her stuff.
She placed her digi-screen on her nightstand, placed her soft clothes in the closet, and put all of her thick, heavy books on the bookshelf. After unpacking all her things, she gazed out the window to see a beautiful sight of the different shops, historical sites from the American Revolution, and the many other sights of Boston.
"Hey Evelyn, are you done?" Amber called from downstairs.
"Yep," Evelyn replied as she ran downstairs.
"Wanna go explore the school?" asked Amber.
Evelyn happily agreed.
They walked along the rose quartz sidewalk with little colorful flowers along the side.
"I'm going to get some drinks for us ok?" Evelyn said. She left and started towards the Cocoa Cup. The sound of her crisp, white sneakers clicked while she walked. Then suddenly, she felt herself bump into someone.
"Oof!" She grunted.
The boy she bumped into was around an inch or two taller than her, and also had whitish-blonde hair, but a bit darker. He looked rather familiar, but Evelyn had no idea why.
Someone made a wheezing sound and almost choked with laughter behind him. Evelyn turned and saw an Asian boy with dark hair and hazel brown eyes. He wore a white T-shirt from some sort of swim competition, a navy blue jacket, and black shorts.
"Jayden! Stop bullying innocent people!" The boy with dark hair joked.
"Be quiet," The boy with blonde hair rolled his eyes.
Amber came over and gave Evelyn a hand.
"Oh, hi Amber." came the dark haired boy from behind.
Amber sighed sarcastically.
"Hello, Kai." Amber waved.
"You guys know each other?" Asked Evelyn.
"Yeah. We car-pooled here together." replied the boy Evelyn assumed was Kai.
