Y/N's Pov:

The days flew by quicker than I wanted them to, and now here I was, standing in front of the entrance of the airport.

My face had an expression that was a mixture of tiredness and discomfort.

I had difficulties falling asleep last night since I had things to do, and when I wanted to sleep, my thoughts never found rest, compared to my body.

'Hopefully, I can make up the missed hours of sleep on the plane, bus.. heck, even when we arrive, I'd be great full. I'm exhausted.'

I took a deep breath and walked through the entrance and towards the check in, to hand over my suit case.

Once that was done, I noticed I was a bit early, so I texted bsf/n and told her that I was near the check-in at a cafe, considering I somewhat overslept and was in a hurry, not to be late, that I didn't have the time to have breakfast.

I ordered a hot beverage, with something to eat, paid, and sat down and waited for my food.

About 15 minutes passed, and I saw an all to familiar presence heading my way, wearing the most eye blinding outfit I've ever seen.

'Guess someone ate a literal rainbow this morning..'

She approached my table and sat down on the other side of the table, and crossed her legs.

"Wow.. you look awful."

I glared at her.

"And you look like a rainbow threw up on ya'."

There was a moment of silence.

"Guess you couldn't get much sleep, huh? You know.. you shouldn't overwork yourself like that.."

I shrugged and took another sip of the hot beverage that arrived along the side of the food I ordered, 5 minutes prior to her arrival.

We talked for a bit before heading to the security section to get checked before continuing to the assigned gate that was printed on our tickets.

After hours of travelling by plane and bus, we finally arrived at our destination.

Kitakami

I collapsed on the next bench that I saw, which was located in front of some building, that was located near what seemed like a small shop..?

"We are almost there. You can make it." My bestie said.

"No." I protested while I laid on the bench.

"I won't hesitate to drag you, and trust me, I will." She said.

"Do that, and you will see where that will get ya'." I said, my tone slightly laced with annoyance.

After a long conversation, that went back and forth, leading absolutely nowhere.. I just gave in and followed her.

When we arrived at the house of my best friends relatives, the sun was already setting.

We were greeted with a worm welcome and had time to settle in and bring our luggage away before dinner.

Bsf/n, of course, helped them prepare the food, while I unpacked some stuff that I might need or might use in the following hours or days.

I collapsed on the bed in the guest bedroom, but that relieved feeling left after Bsf/n opened the door, basically slamming it open, and told me that dinner was ready.

I mentally groaned and got up, from the surprisingly comfortable bed.

'This is going to be a longgg day...'
