Chapter 16: Power In Emotion

Cody then felt something change within his quirk's energy, as if it were speaking to him. He understood the message, Roman was coming.
Cody then grabbed his signature skull helmet, and put it on, grabbing a nearby radio. "This is Rhodes to heroes, Roman is coming, and he's bringing an army! Prepare for battle!" Cody said as he got into his gear, and left the room.....

Randy, Seth, Dean Kevin, and Sami got the message, and immediately got into their gear, ready to use their quirks to their limit. When Drew, Sheamus, and the rest of the heroes got the message, they did the same, Rey and Dominik determined to defeat the Judgement Day, with Andrade, Santos, and Zelina by their side.

Class 1-A were determined. If there was a time to end the tyrannical reign of Roman Reigns, the time was now. Izuku was more determined than ever. With his friends by his side, and knowing that he had a chance to truly bring Solo Sikoa to justice for what he did. Solo took Izuku's mother from him, why the hell should Izuku leave Solo's actions unpunished?

The others came out in their special gear, ready for war. Cody stood in front of them, the aura of his truly awakened quirk radiating off of him.
"Everyone, today is the day we fight our final battle against Roman Reigns and his army, this moment will forever change the course of our lives, and I know that there are many of you that are afraid. If there is anyone who wishes to leave, now is the time to do it." He said. He closed his eyes, expecting to hear the sound of people walking away.

He heard the voice of CM Punk. "Look, I don't know if you know this, but none of us are leaving. The moment we joined you, we knew there was no turning back! So open your damn eyes and look at us! We're not a bunch of cowards who walk away from something that will define our future! We're warriors who fight for the future! Open your eyes and see the many who stand with you, the many who have lost so much, yet remain unaffected by the pain and sorrow, those who are courageous in the face of danger! You're our leader through and through, you brought us together like nobody else could!" CM Punk shouted.

"Ever since I met you for the first time, I knew that there was greatness in you. That's why I became your mentor, why I taught you everything you know, I'm willing to die to make sure you finish the fight and defeat Roman Reigns, and I'm sure the rest of us are too." Randy said.

"Hey, Uce! You accepted me when I thought I would be alone for the rest of my life! You taught me that there is always a chance to do the right thing, and I'll be damned if I let that chance slip away, Uce!" Jey shouted.

"The battles we fought up until now, were the reason for my son coming back to me! And I cannot thank you enough Cody. I'm willing to walk the path alongside you to defeat these villains. Me, Dominik, Zelina, Andrade, and Santos. We, the LWO pledge our loyalty to the cause." Rey said.

John Cena then stepped forward, wanting to make his voice be heard, despite his lack of involvement in the previous battles.
"Cody Rhodes, I've faced many villains throughout my career that have put me to the test, but there is nothing more inspiring than your leadership. You are the vision that saw many years ago when I started as a hero. This may be my last hoorah, but I want to end my career taking down the biggest threat I've ever come to know. And if they want some, they better come get some, because the LAST TIME IS NOW!!!" John shouted.

"Cody, you may not see it, but I do. I see the very thing that embodied the Shield in you, courage. You had the courage to challenge Roman's evil when others did not! And that's why, when it comes to fighting the Dark Empire, when it comes to fighting the Bloodline, when it comes to fighting Roman Reigns, there are only TWO people on earth, who are uniquely suited...to be your Shield." Seth said as Dean nodded in agreement.

The rest cheered until Izuku stepped forward.
"Dad, you gave me the thing I desperately needed after Solo Sikoa took my mother from me, you gave me family, you gave me a person to look to for advice, for reassurance, and that person is you. I'm willing to fight alongside you until the end, me and my classmates, you and your friends showed us the truth of who we are and we're meant to be. You are a true symbol of peace." Izuku said as he hugged Cody.
