Managing to catch a rabbit, I made my way back to Zappy's farmhouse. Zappy purred a greeting as I set down the rabbit infront of the old, dusty and abandoned structure. Another golden cat that looked a little like Zappy came out of the farmhouse. I stiffened and felt my hackles rising instinctly as he slid next to Zappy. He had an arogant gaze, and his coat was a stunning golden color. His emerald eyes, a slightly more murky shade than Marco's held an intensive glare as his lip curled into a sneer. Zappy looked rather annoyed and tired, but her eyes still held the spirit and excitment that I see everyday.
"Who is this?" I ask, trying to flatten my bristling fur. Zappy opened her mouth to speak, but the male cat cut her off.
"My name little she-cat, is Russel. But you can call my Rus." Russel purred.His voice was so sickly sweet... Ugh!
"Oh yeah... My brother (Rus) staying with us for a while because his housefolk had some guests." Zappy said, forcing out a smile.
"Yeah." He said, his green eyes mentally forcing me to back down.
"Oh... Okay." I muttered, my looking down at the ground. A cold breeze blew and ruffled my fur, as if it was warning me about trusting Rus. But I didn't need it to warn me ; I already hated him. :P
