"Where ya going, sweetie?" Rus purred as I slid out of the barn. I groaned.

"Somewhere without you?" I hissed. Rus slide next to me, his pelt brushing mine.

"Oh dear, looks like someone has a temper~" He said. I growled, showing my teeth. Feeling my temper rise, I took a swipe at him, claws unsheathed. He jumped back, surprised and shocked.

"Go away and leave me alone! I hate hate hate you, you stupid fur-ball! Go somewhere else and honey other cats instead! but leave me be! " I snarled. I ran away before he could say anything else.

My ears swiveled to the sound of paws pounding behind me. Of course, that fool is going to follow me.

Suddenly, a crazy idea burst into my mind. I slowed down my pace, until I could feel Rus's presence directly behind me. Come on now! Just a bit further... My mind pleaded until I saw the great oak log. Trembling, I stretched my neck up a little. I could just make out a few cat's silhouettes. A patrol! Great! I launched myself over the log and Rus followed me, that fool. Time slowed down as I extended one paw forward to catch the log. I was directly over it as my paw caught it. Intense pain shot through me, and I roared, catching the patrol's attention. They bounded over, snarling. Rus's eyes popped opened in fear, and I sniggered. I swung back, away from the patrol as Rus landed in front of the patrol's feet. Two toms and a she-cat. The ginger she-cat barked a question, her amber eyes sharp and questioning. The bigger tom snarled something that sounded accusing, and the ginger she-cat nodded.

"Get up," she spat "You're coming with us." They yanked Rus up by his scruff, and hauled him away. Just before the patrol disappeared, the smaller tom looked back.

"I know you're still there, but I just wanted to say hardcore skills man." smiled the small silver tom. I poked my head up and smiled before running back toward the barn.

After I ran back to the barn, I was greeted by a very worried Zappy.

"Where were you? Where's Rus?" Her gaze was questioning.

"I dunno." I stiffled a yawn. " I was stretching my legs in the forest, and Rus decided to stalk me. I could hear him, but once we reached this log, he disappeared. I dunno where he went."

Silence blanketed us as Zappy glared at me for a second.

"He's probably okay. He can take care of himself." Zappy concluded, her eyes glowing with annoyance and anger at her brother.

"Yeah." I yawned as I made my way inside of the barn, to my hale bale. "Totally." I muttered with sarcasm as I lay down.

What I didn't know was that someone was going to pay me a visit.
