chapter 27 (new york pt 2.)

tim goes home after dropping lucy off at the airport and it's now 5am. he decides to just stay up and start on the pool now so it should be ready before lunch. he heads out and shocks the pool and does whatever else he needs to do before heading inside and making pancakes for the kids, once he's done it's about 7am and lucy texts
L-just boarding now supposed to land around 12;30ish i love you
T-okay, i love you baby
he puts the pancakes on a plate and then grabs a blanket and lays down on the couch and immediately falls asleep. around 8ish autum wakes up and goes downstairs and sees tim asleep, she sees the pancakes out so she climbs up onto the counter to get a paper plate and puts some pancakes on them and then into the microwave. while there warming up she crawls on the counter to the other cabinet and get out the syrup, once the microwave goes off she gets the plate out and hops down from the counter and plates her breakfast and eats it, she decides since her dad is passed out on the couch to just watch a show on her ipad and that's what she does, about 30 minutes later rico comes downstairs
R-hi sissy
A-hi bub
R-breakfast
A-there's pancakes you want some
R-yes!
A-okay
autum climbs up on the counter again and warms up his pancakes and then hands it to him blah blah blah they eat and play on there ipads and about an hour later so 9:30 the twins are awake and downstairs when tim wakes up because rico decides to lay on him
T-mm morning baby
R-morning daddy
T-did you have breakfast
R-mhm sissy made them
tim looks around and sees his kids
T-morning babies
kids-morning dad
T-today we are opening the pool!
A-can i go put on my baiting suit now pleaseee
T-yeah all of you go and i'll finish it up alright
they all nod and go upstairs and get changed into there baiting suits and tim gets up from the couch and checks on the pool and everything is right so he gets out the floates from the garage and blows them up and then the kids come downstairs
T-alright alright we are going to go over rules for the pool and there going to be on the chalkboard never erase them
1:littles have to have an adult, twins or jackson out here to get in
2:absolutely no running
3:you must tell somebody when your coming out to the pool
4:wear a damn baiting suit unless your pushed in
5:do not pee in the pool.
T-alright are we clear on thoose rules
kids-yes
T-okay, now while I get dressed, put on sunscreen or else, your mother will kill me
B-okay
tim goes upstairs and gets changed into swim trunks and texts wesley and james in there gc

T-come over if ya want the pool is open
W-we will be there in literally 2 seconds
J-let me get leah's baiting suit and we will be on our way
T-okay 👍
as tim is going downstairs his mom calls him
T-hi mom everything okay
C-oh yeah no everything is fine i was just seeing what you were up to
T-nothing much i just opened up the pool, you should come over
C-right now?
T-unless if your doing something
C-i'm not, is lucy okay with that
T-yes she is your there grandmother and her, angela and nyla are on a plane to new york for a detectives thing
C-for how long
T- 2 and a half weeks.
C-so you are alone with the kids for that long
T-yeah me wesley and james are planning on getting together a lot more-RICO STOP HITTING YOUR SISTER WITH THE POOL NOODLES
C-i'll be over soon
T-okay just walk in love you

T-rico you cannot hit her with the pool noodles, especially after she says stop okay
R-okay
T-wesley and them and james and leah are going to be here soon, did you all put on sunscreen on

J-oh yeah zoe needs to do that

blah blah james and leah arrive and everybody gets in the pool and then the boys get a text
