chapter 17 (2 disabled people)

as the kids were on christmas break for 3 weeks tim and lucy got off the week of christmas and while they were at work jackson and zoe would go over or vise versa so they could watch the littles together. during there days they would watch movies, color, paint, read, play outside and really do whatever the littles requested. during that time jackson and everline got much closer even though they have been close there entire childhood. as christmas was next week lucy and tim have been ordering things off of amazon as with there busy schedules from work and 4 kids they didn't have much of a break and as they very well could ask bellamy and everline to watch them for longer as they quite frankly wouldn't give a fuck they didn't ask. this is tim and lucy's last day before they go on break with the kids and they just got out of roll call
T-i have a metro opp in an hour

they kiss and he goes and changes into his metro uniform and kisses lucy and tells her he loves her one last time before leaving. lucy is doing her paperwork from a case she solved when she gets a call from bailey

B-i'm guess the metro opp went sideways or something he has a definite broken foot and will need stitches above his eye

she hangs up and runs to greys office

she runs out to her car and speeds off to shawn memorial seeing tim getting stitched up but still arguing with the nurse

he gets them and then they roll him off to get his foot screened and he comes back in the bed asleep and she sits down on the chair next to him with her feet up on the bed holding his hand and 2 hours later it's now 12 and tim and lucy wake up

T-no it's not that bad

T-we walked in and they tripped me and flipped me over and we were fighting and idk i think thats what happened

L-you definitely broke it but you wouldn't need surgery

lucy goes and asks and they said he can go back home now since they already had his foot in a boot. so she goes back they get everything packed up and they leave and go home and the kids are surprised to see them home so early

T-somebody tripped me then tackled me

T-the pains not even that bad so
L-go upstairs and put your leg up and sleep asshat

he goes upstairs and lucy manages to keep all the kids downstairs and she explains to them what happend and they all color and jackson and zoe pop in cause they saw lucy's car
J-hey what happened
L-tim broke his foot
J-damn now you got 2 people disabled
he says laughing cause everline is in a brace and has 1 more physical therapy

she heads upstairs and sees tim layed down but with his head on her pillow

she changes into a sweatshirt and shorts and lays down with him he rests his head on her chest as he hasn't for the past week with bellamy sleeping with them

T-idk i saw the K-9 unit and it looks like the kids would have fun with a dog

T-we could have him in the basement bedroom in a cage because otherwise he'll chew stuff up and bring him up christmas morning before breakfast

they look and find kojo but he's a puppy and they said they will get him christmas eve night and then they fall asleep for 3 hours and are woken by angela coming into there room

angela leaves and says bye her her babies (she's 5 months pregnant) and then goes back to her house and gets ready and so does wesley and they go out to a very nice restaurant and come back late and have a good night aswell 😉. back with tim and lucy and it's 4:30

L-i'm sure it does honey let's go downstairs and you can cuddle up with our little babies

they get up and tim gets his crutches as it would hurt way to much to put pressure on his foot quite yet and they make there way downstairs seeing rico on bellamy playing with his curls and bellamy not even caring and autum and zoe playing with dolls and everline and jackson cuddles up on the couch laughing at things on there phones

T-she went out for the night you and jackson are gonna stay the night and you can see her and your dad tomorrow sounds good

zoe and autum jump around in circles like they never sleep with eachother at sleepovers and tim and lucy laugh and sit down

they talk about random things and they all decide on chicken noodle soup as it was now raining and cold outside so it was perfect for the weather. they all sit down and eat and everline has half of her bowl 🥳. at night lucy gets rico and the girls down and then goes to bed with tim as bellamy has gone back to his own room 2 nights before as he had online therapy and his therapist said he was doing good (she didn't tell them what he said but she said that he was improving) everline had also had online therapy but didn't talk much as she didn't know what to talk about and she didn't like the whole telling a person she doesn't know her deep feelings. and bellamy went up soon after and now it was just everline and jackson on the couch

jackson playfully rolls his eyes and gets her headache medicine
