Jay was walking back to the Slytherin dungeons, happy about what Blaise had sent her. When she walked in, she saw Blaise sat in the chair near the fire. He had his hands together in front of his mouth, like he was having a prayer. But he wasn't.
"Hi Blaise" she said quietly.
He didn't answer her and that made her feel bad. Once she came back to the real world, she heard crying coming from from the boy dorms. Even though she was a girl, she went up. She was tiptoeing as she didn't want the person to hear her. She looked through a tiny crack in the door, and she saw someone face up on their bed. Once she had got more into focus, she realised it was Draco.
"I'm s-sorry, don't h-h-hurt me" cried Draco.
Jay widened her eyes, who would hurt him? Why? Tears strolled down her cheeks, while she thought deeply. She had to keep her howls back, it was hard as she was crying so much.
"Jay, please. I-I'm sorry, d-don't hurt m-me. I lo-love you" whispered Draco.
Jay was so depressed she couldn't believe it. She would never hurt him, ever. She just knew that she would never like him, like he did her. She liked Blaise, nothing would change that. She ran into the common room and looked around for Blaise. She wanted to cry onto his shoulder and tell him she loved him. She couldn't find him but saw a note where he was sat:
Jay. I know you'll be the first to read this. So I wanted to tell you I loved you, I always have. I've just never been able to tell you, I'm on my way to the roof of the castle. The one we went to when in second year. All I want to say is that I love you and goodbye. I will miss you so very much. Never forget me. Tell everyone I'm sorry, I just can't take it any more. Love you, Blaise.
Tears welled up in her eyes. He couldn't leave her. She wanted to let everything out. So she did.
"BLAISE" she screamed, and ran to the roof of the castle.
She looked round and saw him on the edge. She ran up to him and held him back. Blaise could feel her tears, he knew she would react like this.
"You can't leave Blaise, I love you" she cried.
"I love you too. But I just want to show you how much" he said.
"Hey there Delilah what's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look so pretty, as you do." (Continues)
Halfway through the song, Blaise got up without Jay seeing. She had her head in her hands, fighting back her tears. Blaise didn't want to do it but he couldn't deal with all the stress.
"Goodbye Jay" he said, leaning back.
She immediately looked up and saw that Blaise was gone. She looked down to just see him falling. Jay ran down to get to the front doors of the castle. On the way, she saw someone carrying some white blankets and took one. She felt like bursting.
Once she had gotten to where the muddled Blaise was, she dropped to her knees and wept. She took the blanket and placed it over his blood, guts and everything. She turned to look at the front doors and saw teachers running towards her.
"He jumped off the roof" sulked Jay.
"Why?" Asked Professor Flitwick as the other teachers sorted out Blaise.
"Stress, as he told me. But he was lying. I can tell" said Jay flatly.
Professor Flitwick frowned and tried to comfort her, but it didn't work. Jay only wondered one thing, why were the teachers so calm? She dared not ask as she thought they would ignore her. She set off again, watching the teachers throw away and put on new gloves. They had sent an owl to his parents and they had told them to ash him and to send someone to give the ashes to them.
Jay rushed to the dungeons, hating herself for not stopping him in time. Once she had gotten there, she flumped into a leather chair in the common room. There was no one else there which she was glad about. She sobbed into her knees as she thought more and more. She cried so much that there were no more tears left. All of a sudden she heard footsteps coming from the boys dorm. Who was it? She didn't care if they saw her crying.
" who is it" said Jay, muffled by her knees.
"Malfoy, Draco Malfoy" he said.
"What's wrong? What happened?"
"Oh nothing apart from BLAISE FUCKING COMMITTED SUICIDE WHILE I JUST SAT THERE AND FUCKING WATCHED HIM!! IT SHOULD OF BEEN ME THAT DIED, NOT HIM" she shouted, angry but sad at the same time.

Okay so I tried not to make it really graphic so sorry if the Blaise bit was short. But seriously, it made me cry writing this, AGAIN. Yeah, I wrote it twice. Double the pain😂 anyway, goodbye!-Robin
