Abused angel

Chapter 23

Author's POV:
Xavier take slow steps towards them. He can't believe that these three rascals had almost lost angel in the mall. What if something happened to angel. The mere thought angered xavier, he glared at them. They stood up and lowered their heads.

Xavier doesn't want to shout at them before angel so he crouched before angel and kissed her hands softly "how are you princess, did you hurt somewhere" he said checking her, making sure there were no injuries.

She shakes her head and whispered to him "go home". He nodded, picked angel and went away but not before glaring at them. They all went to the parking lot where the ladies were waiting for them.

"Why you all take a lot of time" Sophia said eyeing angel whose head was resting on the xavier's shoulder and the trio who were coming behind them with lowered heads. "not now mom" xavier muttered angrily.

They nodded slightly. On the way back home there was no debate as to whom angel would go with. Xavier ordered kingston and rowan to go on bikes while he and theo went in car. Theo was driving while trembling and xavier was sitting beside him with angel on his lap who was looking outside quietly. Xavier know something wrong was never this quiet.

They all reached the mansion. Xavier took angel inside without saying a word. All men was sitting on the sofa discussing something except alexander, santiago and xander. Alexander was in the balcony, talking to somebody, santiago and xander were in the office. They saw xavier coming inside. They all smiled but stopped looking at the ladies distressed faces.

"What happened" liam asked. Emma shakes her head "we also don't know".

While all this angel was looking around as if trying to find somebody. Xavier noticed and asked "who are you looking for princess". Angel didn't say anything and continue looking around. Angel eyes fills with tears when she can't found that person.

Just then alexander came from the balcony and went towards them. When he reached angel starts saying frantically "down down" and starts thrashing in xavier's arm.

Xavier put angel down. She ran to alexander, hugged his legs and started crying loudly. All turns shocked seeing her. Alexander quickly picked her and starts rocking her "shh shh, princess stop crying. I am here ok. Nothing will hurt you" he keeps on saying assuring her. But she keeps on crying "daddy I so scared".

He takes angel to bedroom but not before casting a glance at liam. Liam nodded. All the way to bedroom, angel was crying. He sits on the bed, puts angel on his lap and starts rocking her gently. "No one will hurt you now, shh stop crying" he keeps on saying sweet words.

After some minutes she slept in his arms as she was exhausted. He kept her in his arms until her breaths were steady. He put her under the covers but angel was not ready to let go of him. She was clutching his shirt tightly in her hands as if she was afraid he will get vanished. He gently removed her hands and pecked her forehead "I swear angel whoever hurt you , will get a painful death" he whispers.

He then went to his study and slammed open the door. Everyone in the room flinched from the loud sound. He goes to his chair and slumped down. He looked at everyone and locked his gaze at the trio who were standing with their lowered heads. He narrowed his eyes, sensing something fishy. So he said "you three,  tell me what the fuck happened at the mall".

Theo starts shivering sensing everyone attention on them. Rowan stepped forward "uncle~". He stopped when alexander raised his hand up. "theo you speak" alexander said. Everyone looked at theo. Theo shakily stepped forward and narrates the whole incident.

When he completed, women starts crying, men were furious at them. And alexander was hell furious. He wanted to kill them but can't they were his brothers sons. Luca stood up and punched theo in the face. He didn't try to defend himself. He know he deserves it. Alexander shouted "what!! How can you be so careless theo, what if something happens to her, what if she was kidnapped again"

Theo lowered his head "you should thank your luck theo that santiago and xander are not here right now" zion said. Theo starts shivering badly, not wanting to imagine his elder brothers wrath.

"Theo your mistake is unforgivable, so  give me your credit card, car and bike keys, your phone and your tablet" alexander ordered. Theo immediately nodded because he knows that this punishment is nothing compared to the mistake he has committed. Rowan and kingston sighed in relief but that relief was soon gone when alexander said "this punishment is for you both also". They lowered their heads.

"But I wonder who that man was that theo saw in the mall" Jackson said. Everyone starts thinking at his words "theo did you see his face" leonardo asked. Theo shakes his head "his face was covered".

"Don't worry I'll call james to figure out who was that man" nicholas said and went out of the room. Alexander thought that if angel had lost her way how would she find her way back as she is a kid. How can she remember the way unless someone helped her. He also thought that what could have happened to her there that she starts crying as soon as sees him.

He was thinking all this when he heard a cry coming from his room. All froze listening to that sound. All ran to bedroom and what they saw there was enough to pierced their hearts. Angel was crying while sitting on the bed, her eyes and cheeks were red and her hair were messy. When she saw alexander and olivia she starts saying "daddy mommy". They both ran to her. Alexander at luca and signed him to leave with his family.

Soon they were alone in the room. Olivia picked angel "what happened my princess, why are you crying".

"you leave" angel said sobbing. Alexander caresses her head lovingly "we didn't leave you angel. We will always be here for you, promise". Angel looked at him with tear filled eyes "promise" he nodded and pecked her cheeks.

Olivia smiled and kissed her forehead. Alexander knows now it's not the time to discuss the previous incident so he dropped the conversation for now.

"Angel do you want to meet the rest of the family" Olivia said while caressing her cheeks. Angel hesitantly nodded.

Olivia give angel to alexander and they both went downstairs with angel.  Everyone looked at them and stood up but didn't come close as they don't want to overwhelm angel. Alexander put angel down on the floor. Everyone hearts ached looking at angel's red face.

Theo hesitantly comes close to angel and dropped down on his knees "I am sorry angel, please forgive me. Because of me you got lost in the mall. I will don't leave you alone again, I promise". Tears falls down from his eyes.

Angel being an innocent soul, wiped his tears and said "forgive you theo". He smiled and hugged her. She also hugged him back. Everyone smiled looking at their interaction but soon stopped when they heard a two loud voices
