Simon let out a deep sigh as he leaned back in his chair, running fingers through his hair.his New recruit was coming , great. He glanced up at the clock on the wall; still several hours to go before she was scheduled to arrive. He was never the most sociable person, especially not with new recruits. They reminded him too much of his younger self, full of naive idealism and eager to prove themselves. This was going to be a long day.
He stood up from his chair and walked over to the window, staring out at the base spread out in front of him. The compound was teeming with activity as usual. Soldiers walked briskly from building to building, some carrying gear, others just talking in passing. It was a familiar sight, one that he saw every day yet somehow never seemed to get used to. He let out another sigh, silently praying this new recruit wouldn't be as troublesome as some of the previous ones.
He knew however this was only a hope, not a guarantee.
Ghost heard the commotion in the commons area and lifted his head, listening intently. He could hear the sound of voices and footsteps, suggesting that something was happening.

He stepped away from his window, making his way out of his office to investigate.

He joined the commons to find Soap was there flirting and teasing a woman relentlessly cooing to her and calling her princess or doll, his usual flirtatious banter flying left and right.
He could be such a man whore R times.
All while other men joined in the harassment, calling her sexy or honey, to which the woman wasn't fased behind a balaclava she was stotic to their crude comments.

Ghost couldn't make out the woman's identity beneath the balaclava, but he noticed the way she glared as Soap called her "princess" and "doll". The other men were joining in, their comments growing more crude with each passing second.

Ghost gritted his teeth, recognizing the signs of harassment all too well.
He decided to step in, not wanting to let this go further. He approached the group, his expression stern as he addressed Soap.

"Soap, a word," he said, his voice firm and authoritative.

Soap, the Scott with a mo Hawk turned over his shoulder with a grin
"Ah come to see the pretty lass eh ghost? Maybe she's gotta type for the dark brooding mystery man" He teased

"That's not why I'm here," Ghost replied coolly, his eyes sweeping over the group.

He noticed how the woman tensed up even more under the scrutiny, her hands clenching into fists at her sides. The men surrounding her looked amused, clearly enjoying the prospect of making her uncomfortable.

"what is it Lt?" Soap asked with a sigh that he was putting an end to his bantering.

"I need to talk to you," Ghost said, gesturing for Soap to follow him a few steps away from the group.

Once they were out of earshot, he turned to Soap with a disapproving glare. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"what do ye Mean?" He asked confused by his disapproval.

Ghost clenched his jaw, frustrated by Soap's cluelessness. "You know damn well what I mean. Flirting and teasing a woman like that, calling her those pet names. You're making her uncomfortable."

"ah it's just in good fun mate" he said

Ghost's eyes narrowed at Soap's response. "Just in good fun?" he repeated, his voice dripping with disappointment. "You think it's fun to harass a woman and make her feel uneasy? That's not what this unit is about, Soap. We're not here to make anyone feel uncomfortable or disrespected."

"relax Lt whats wrong with a little cat calling and compliments" He asked with a shrug.
"Besides we haven't had a lass in our unit, just getting familiar." He smirks.

This was exactly what he was worried about taking on a female recruit to the team.
His expression darkened at Soap's dismissive attitude. "You think it's just harmless flirting, do you?" he said, his voice low and stern. "Let me tell you, it's not. It's harassment, plain and simple. And it's not something we tolerate in this unit. So knock it off, before I knock some sense into you."

"alright ok..I get it I'll back of her ghost don't get your nickers in a twist alright?" He put his hands up

Ghost nodded, satisfied that Soap had finally taken the hint. "Good," he said, his tone still stern. "I mean it, Soap. No more of that behavior."

He turned back to the group, his eyes scanning over the men who were still standing there. "And that goes for the rest of you. None of that kind of behavior towards women especially a bloody teammate, understood?"

The men cough and nod caught by his dark demeanor and threaten Aura
The woman looked at him with striking green eyes that were said to be from the file he finished reading.

As Ghost turned his gaze to the woman, her striking green eyes met his. There was something about her that seemed both familiar and yet foreign to him.

He studied her for a moment, the memory of the confidential file fresh in his mind. Could this be Fields?
