Part 25
The day of the gender reveal party had finally arrived, and excitement buzzed in the air as Naina and Arjun prepared to share the news with their family and friends. The backyard was beautifully decorated with blue and pink balloons, streamers, and a large sign that read, “Boy or Girl? Let’s Find Out!”
Samaira ran around, her laughter ringing out as she helped with the decorations, her little hands busy tying ribbons and hanging banners. “This is going to be the best day ever!” she exclaimed, her eyes wide with anticipation.
Naina smiled, watching her daughter’s enthusiasm. She was thrilled that Samaira was so involved in the preparations. “Are you ready to find out if you’re going to have a brother or sister?” Naina asked, kneeling down to Samaira’s level.
“Yes! I hope it’s a brother! We can be best friends!” Samaira replied, bouncing on her toes.
“Let’s just hope for a healthy baby, okay?” Arjun chimed in, carrying a large box filled with confetti. “But I have to admit, having a little buddy for you would be pretty awesome, Samaira.”
As guests began to arrive, the atmosphere filled with joy and laughter. Friends and family gathered, all eager to discover the baby’s gender. The backyard was alive with chatter and excitement, and Naina felt a wave of love wash over her as she looked at all the familiar faces surrounding them.
“Alright, everyone! Gather around!” Arjun called out, clapping his hands to get everyone’s attention. “It’s time for the big reveal!”
With everyone gathered, Naina stood beside Arjun, holding Samaira’s hand tightly. “Thank you all for coming to celebrate this special moment with us. We are so grateful to have you here as we find out if we’re having a little boy or girl!”
Arjun opened the box, and Naina’s heart raced as she felt the anticipation build. Inside were colorful blue and pink confetti cannons. “On the count of three, we’ll find out together!” he announced, his voice filled with excitement.
“Are you ready?” Naina asked, glancing at Samaira, whose eyes were gleaming with excitement.
“Yes!” Samaira shouted, practically bouncing in place.
“One… two… three!” Arjun counted, and they all pressed down on the cannons simultaneously.
In an instant, a burst of blue confetti exploded into the air, swirling around them like a shimmering cloud. Gasps and cheers erupted from the crowd as everyone realized what it meant.
“It’s a boy!” Naina and Arjun shouted in unison, their hearts swelling with joy.
Samaira jumped up and down, squealing with delight. “I’m going to have a baby brother!” she exclaimed, her excitement infectious. “I can’t wait to play with him!”
Naina’s eyes filled with happy tears as she embraced Arjun, their hearts full of love and anticipation. “We’re going to have a son,” she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
The backyard erupted in applause and cheers as family and friends came forward to congratulate them. Balloons were released into the sky, and the celebration continued with laughter, games, and delicious food.
As the day unfolded, Naina found herself surrounded by love, joy, and a renewed sense of hope for the future. She watched as Samaira played with her cousins, already imagining the bond she would have with her little brother.
“Can you believe it?” Arjun said, wrapping his arm around Naina’s shoulders. “We’re going to be a family of four!”
Naina smiled, leaning into him. “I can’t wait to meet our little prince,” she replied, her heart swelling with happiness.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the gathering, Naina felt grateful for the journey ahead. With Arjun by her side and the love of their family and friends surrounding them, she knew that they were ready for whatever adventures awaited them as they prepared to welcome their baby boy into the world.
