"Where the hell did you disappear off to yesterday? I look away for one second, and the next, you're nowhere to be seen" Yamato spoke, leaning against Isamu's office seat while Isamu went through the documents of an upcoming meeting with potential investors that were sprawled all over his desk- barely paying attention to whatever it was Yamato was saying.  "By 'look away' you mean hitting on the male model side-questing to be a bartender." Isamu deadpanned, shuffling through the pages of the current file in front of him before turning to the one he needed, reading it, and picking up his pen to highlight a certain sentence.

Yamato's brow furrowed at the dry remark and lack of attention from his best friend. He huffed, irritated.

"I was worried, you know," Yamato grumbled before gripping Isamu's seat and turning it around to make him face him. "And since when do you work on a Sunday?!" Yamato gestured exasperatedly to the paperwork in front of Isamu- making Isamu let out an exasperated sigh before glancing up at him

 "Since now-"

Mainly to forget about my activities from last night.

"- And there was no need to be worried, Yamato. I sent you a text,"

Yamato scoffed "A text saying "heading out, don't call me" Like, come on! I knew you didn't want to be there but I didn't think you'd actually ditch me!"

"I didn't ditch you-"

"What else do you call that?!"

Isamu paused. Goddamn it. Why am I even arguing with this moron?

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself before he glanced up at Yamato again. "You're right, sorry. I should've informed you better. I just-" He cut himself off. Should he know?

Yamato looked down at him, arching an eyebrow as he watched Isamu cut himself off. He was clearly waiting for his best friend to continue. "You just, what?"

"I met someone," Isamu stated, blurting it out before he could stop himself. However he instantly regretted it as he watched Yamato's eyes sparkle with newfound intrigue and amusement. His usual smug grin reappeared on his lips, making Isamu roll his eyes.

"Oh? Met someone?" Yamato mused as he leaned in, his brows wriggling with excitement, "So, who's the lucky person who managed to catch your eye, huh?"

Isamu tried to keep his expression impassive, feigning nonchalance. "It's no one important."

"Oh, come on, you don't get all secretive like this for 'no one important.' Spill the beans, who was he? Was he cute? Handsome? Does he have a great ass?"

Isamu rolled his eyes, trying to ignore the warmth creeping up his neck. "It's not like that. It was just one night, and—"

Yamato leaned back, a look of disbelief crossing his face. "One night? And that's it?"

Isamu let out an irritated sigh, his patience wearing thin with Yamato's lack of response. "Yes, one night. Is that so hard to believe?

"You left a perfectly good party for a one-night stand with some rando?" Yamato mused again, his smug grin widening
