"Great, fucking great!"

Isamu huffed as the connection on his call disconnected for the 5th time in the past 10 minutes. Since when did the U.S have such shitty wifi?! He shut the screen of his MacBook a bit more harshly than needed and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.

Right, So the business trip to the U.S wasn't going as great as Isamu's father had hoped. He watched Isamu worriedly from the other side of the office.

"You know, Isamu..." Isamu's father spoke up after a few moments of silence, "I didn't ask you to accompany me on this trip just so you could bury yourself in work in a different country; You were meant to enjoy and leave the business part to me."

He watched as Isamu ran a hand down his face. His son's weariness evident in his movements. His concern increased as Isamu sighed

"I know, father. But what else do you suggest I do? I've only got the work to pass my time with," Isamu replied as he sat up straighter on the seat and glanced down at the MacBook in front of him. A wave of irritation washing over him "Not that this piece of shit is helping me with any of that!" He scoffed as he smacked the top of the MacBook, in a futile attempt to do something.

He let out another sigh, realizing how childish he was acting in front of his father; not that any of this was new. He was his father's son after all. "Sorry..."

Isamu's father watched him for a while, contemplating something for a few moments longer before he spoke up, "All right, since you asked for my suggestion, here it is," He stood up from his armchair and walked over to Isamu's desk, leaning on it as he reached over and picked up the MacBook and file in front of him to place it on the side

Isamu watched his father in confusion and increasing annoyance. "Father, what are you-"

He was cut off as his father spoke up again, his tone firmer than before "Enough, Isamu. Get up and go out. You're in the U.S and in L.A for God's sake."

"But-"

"Stop brooding in my office and working your ass off when I'm the one who's supposed to be doing that." Isamu's father cut him off again.

Isamu paused for a moment. "I thought you wanted me to work, to lessen the burden," he retorted, not giving up so easily,

"Not in bloody America, I don't." His father countered. Damnit

Isamu couldn't argue with him. Knowing his father, this argument would go on until his father actually kicked him out of his office.

Isamu's father then sighed after a moment before he stood up from the desk, glancing down at his son with worried eyes that even Isamu could could see the concern in as he glanced up at him.

A few moments of silence later, Isamu let out a defeated scoff, "Okay. Okay, I'll go out, tonight. Happy?" The thought of going out, socializing, and having fun was not something Isamu was particularly fond of, especially when he could be spending his time finishing a report on his laptop instead. But his father's insistence was hard to ignore and he knew trying to argue would be futile.

His father smiled at him, "Good. You need it." He said as he patted his son's shoulder. "You've brought your friend, Yamato with you right? I'm sure he knows a good bar around here you two could visit. Enjoy yourself, son" He added teasingly to which Isamu just nodded

"Yeah, okay. I'll see..."
