Currently laying in bed on her stomach with her eyes closed getting ready to go back to sleep after getting up to just go use the bathroom,shes soon interrupted when her phone starts buzzing
She sucks her teeth moving her hand around feeling for her phone,once she grabs it she looks at the contact for who it could be

Kushimi presses the answer button and puts the phone to her ear
"Kush its 10 in the morning whats wrong"Shimi asked groggily just wanting to go back to sleep but she wouldn't just not answer his call
"Checking on you,giving you updates the usual shit"Kush told her,she now opens her eyes intrigued at where this conversation is going
"What you getting into at 10am?"Shimi asked him her voice still groggy
"I signed up for a reentry program..I wanna get my record cleaned find a job but i'll be in Sapon with dad"Kush started to give her a run down explaining his plan to her hoping all goes well
"Not now tho since the program is in Harlem"
"I dont wanna make that long ass commute everyday just to go and your my motivation for it. You have a clean record,a job even tho you hate it and money"
"You dont gotta do all this hiding shit and ion want that no more"
"Was it me or prison?"Kushimi joked with him slight chuckling before stopping,it gets silent over the line
Kush chuckles for a brief moment before it goes silent over the line
"Both"Kush answered her
"Uh huh-Well I am happy for you,happy that your in the program and that your getting cleaned knowing you I for sure did not see this coming"Kushimi said
"I lost out on alot in my life doing that stupidity at 14..its a eye opener truly"
"Niggas come outta prison on a whole new page,go head whicha bad self"Shimi cracked another joke,the two of them sharing a laugh
"I swear you act like a older sister"
"Having to endure a bunch of bullshit at a young age im sure you see why"
"Mhm..you sound like you going back to sleep so imma let you"
"I love you sis"Kush said to her
"I love you too bro"Shimi said back and the phone hangs up,she takes it off her ear putting it back where it was now going back to sleep
2 Hours Later
Kushimi rubs her eyes as she steps out of her car parked in front of the deli shes been going to since a child,under new management however they do know her since shes a frequent customer
After getting out she closes the door pressing lock button three times just to make sure,hiking up her beat up Michael Kors purse on her shoulders she now heads to the door of the deli
But she doesn't go in right away,stopping in her tracks seeing a familiar face whom she knows doesn't belong on this side of town
"Now I should ask you why you on this side of town"Kushimi spoke to Tali giving him a slight smile whilst folding up her arms
"I was...looking for you"Tali told her causing her to raise a eyebrow wondering what he could want from her
