My pulse raced as Toma pulled me into an empty classroom near the science department, his grip firm as he guided me inside. The room was dim, thick curtains drawn over the tall windows, allowing only faint shards of light to slip through. Thin beams stretched across the floor and glinted off dusty desks, casting an eerie glow that seemed to make the space feel smaller, more intimate. Shadows clung to the walls, wrapping around us as Toma closed the door softly behind him, the sound echoing in the silence.
In the stillness of the darkened classroom, every sound felt amplified—the steady rhythm of our breathing, the creak of the old floor beneath us, the soft rustle of fabric as he leaned closer. I was nervous that he had brought me to such a secluded area, knowing it was the end of classes. When no one was around. Just the two of us. The tension was high in the air.
The dim light threw his face into sharp relief, catching the determination in his eyes and the tight set of his jaw. He stepped forward, his presence filling the room as he backed me up against a wall. I could feel my heartbeat pounding in my chest, loud in the quiet darkness, as he reached out, his hands settling on either side of me.
"Don't leave me ever again" Toma hissed out, flashing his angry amber eyes back at me, "From now on, just stay by my side forever. I never want you to leave me side"
Toma suddenly grabbed both of my shoulders, forcing me back against the white board. His grip was so tight that it almost hurt.
"Uh! What are you doing, Toma?" I exclaimed, my voice wavering as I pressed my palms against his chest, trying to create even a small space between us, his face inches from mine.
His amber gaze was intense as he looked down at me, a mix of frustration and something darker flickering in his eyes. His hand slid down, fingers grazing my wrist, his touch both possessive and gentle, sending a shiver up my spine.
"I can't just sit back anymore," Toma murmured, his voice low but charged, "Don't you get it?" he continued, his tone softening slightly but no less determined. "I can't stand the thought of anyone else even looking at you." He held my gaze, his breath warm as it brushed across my cheek.
I could feel my heart pounding, my pulse quickening as the room seemed to shrink around us. I tried to look away, to pull back, but his other hand reached up, gently but firmly tilting my chin back toward him, his eyes never leaving mine.
"Toma..." I whispered, unsure if I was pleading for him to stop or to understand, but my voice caught in my throat.
Toma slammed his arm behind me, making me jump. He leaned in close, his breath hot against my face, his voice dark and low.
"What did you tell Mine and Sawa?" Toma demanded, his eyes burning with intensity.
"Nothing..." I swallowed hard, struggling to keep my voice steady, "We just talked. Thats all"
"Don't lie to me!" he snapped, his grip tightening even more on my wrist. His eyes were wild, filled with a frightening passion. "What did you say to them about us? Do you think I don't know what's going on? That I can't see when you're trying to slip away from me?"
"Toma, please," I whispered, my voice shaking. "I wasn't—"
"You *belong* to me," he interrupted, his voice low but trembling with intensity. "I'm the only one who knows what's best for you. They don't understand us. They don't understand how much I love you."
His words twisted inside me, his grip suffocating. His love was like a noose tightening around my neck. These complicated feelings cruelly stained my skin.
"I—I didn't tell them anything bad," I managed to say, my voice barely audible. "They're just worried about me..."
Toma's eyes flashed with anger again, and he shook his head.
