I feel helpless, all I can do is watch.. Watch as Chara strikes Sans and he falls to the ground... Watch as Chara laughs and pulls him up... Watch as he gazes at us with hatred and sadness before he turns to dust... I can only watch myself crumble from the inside as the one I love is killed by the one I hate.

They reset, undoing all of my precious work and dedication...

"Ahh, how nice it is to have the chance to reset again... Heh, let no opportunity go wasted!" Chara speaks, their tone coming out as my own.

I sat in silence in my mind, watching as Chara walked through the ruins, dusting all monsters in sight. I knew we would have to face Toriel, but for what I knew, Chara would savor my suffering.

It was mid-day, the usual ,cheery chirps of distant monsters before they silenced forever under Chara's grasp. The walls tainted the normal purple they were, and the path that led through several easy puzzles. I tried to regain control over my body whenever I could, but Chara was strong, and wouldn't let me.

What a bitch.

"Ah, my child! I see you made it through the ruins safely, now, I have made a butterscotch pie, would you care for some?" Chara put on a fake, genuine smile and nodded as they followed Toriel.

"I swear, if you hurt her-"

"Yeah, and what can you do about it, huh?" They taunt me, but they were right, I couldn't do anything... nothing besides sit and watch as they interacted with Toriel.

I felt pathetic.

As Toriel usually would, she led us (Chara) to our room, and Chara fell asleep, waking up to the soft, comforting smell of butterscotch. For a moment, I can see sadness and nostalgia flash across their face, but it's gone in an instant, leaving me questioning if it was even there.

Chara walks out into the living room, I and seen it so many times before, it was an eternal home to me, but not to Chara... they just seemed eager to leave.

"Mom;" they start, which makes me mad that they called Toriel 'Mom' when I know their motives.

"Yes my child?"

"When can I leave?"

"What..?"

Toriel looks distraught and tries to change the subject, moving on to snails. Chara's expression hardens and they stare at Toriel.

"How do I get out of the ruins?" They question, Toriel gets up and bows slightly.

"Excuse me, I have to do something.."

I watch her dart into the basement, Chara slowly following after, holding a knife in their hands, their eyes gleaming red. It was my body, mine, but they could change my eye color from gold, to blood red, thats how Sans knew I wasn't me.

Sans... Oh Sans I'm so sorry..

Once more I try to regain control, we had killed only a few. They had killed, it wasn't me.

Right..?

I watch as Toriel pauses once, tells us to go back to bed, then continues. As usual, this happens three or four times before we stop at the doors to exit the ruins.
