Onii-Chan!! [HunterxHunter x Child!Reader]

⭐️Chapter 2: Skipping Phase💧

"The Hunter exam will begin Now!"

As all the applicants stood together, ready to hear what they would now need to achieve to continue through the hunter exam.

Soon the mouthless man started to speak again to confirm that no one would want to leave.

"As a final caution, if you are short on luck or ability, you can very well end up seriously injured or dead. Those who accept the risks, please follow me. But if you do not, then please exit the elevator behind you."

A few moments would pass, no one walked out towards the Elevator. Everyone knew what they would be getting into now... The male nods his head slightly before turning his back towards the group.

"very well then. All 405 applicants will participate in Phase One"

The guy would start to take large steps, turning into a fast paced walk, everyone glances towards each other before starting to follow him, trying to keep up with his speed as they were walking together.

You would follow your brother, holding onto his hand, trying to keep up with the speed, though with your pace, you and Hisoka were more near the back of the group than the front.

Eventually the nameless instructor started to speed up, causing everyone else to do the same until everyone had started to run to catch up with the male - yet no one could pass him.

"I neglected introducing myself" The guy with no mouth spoke as he was still walking a head of everyone. "I am Satotz, The Phase One examiner" he said continuing to walk in the direction. "I will be leading you to the Second Phase."

"The second phase?" Someone questioned "What about the first phase?"

"It has already started."

Most glance towards each other, trying to figure out what was this first phase about if they were just... well.. walking?

"You must follow me to the Second Phase." "That's it?" "Yes, but I cannot tell you when we will arrive." That was his final words towards the group before focusing on his walk, letting the group try their best to keep up with him.

You being a small 5 year old, was very much slower than the rest of the groups, especially your brother. You were slowly starting to feel tired as you walk along side the group.

"Want me to carry you~?" Hisoka simply asked his younger sibling, who shook her head quickly. "Nu-uh! I wanna do it!" Now trying to keep up, you would change to skip a bit, it was still tiring but atleast your steps were a bit larger than before..

Hisoka glances towards you, letting you have your own walk. Yet he stayed somewhat close by to make sure you wouldn't stop and try to rest without letting him know. He couldn't let you get stuck behind him.

At Y/n's pace, you eventually were beside Gon, Kurapika and Leorio who had been behind Hisoka and you earlier.

"Hi Y/n-chan!" Gon smiled at you as he kept up his pace. He wasn't going to slow down anytime soon with the energy he has.

"Hai Gon-Oniisan!" You smiled, making Gon tilt his head slightly.

"Doesn't Oniisan mean brother?" Gon questioned.

"Onii-chan is my big brother and Oniisan is for my best friends! You are one of my best friends because you helped me. " You simply corrected him. Which he smiled towards you.

As the run continued, you were getting tired from the running, your short legs started to give out on you. Gon glances and noticed, stopping for a moment and taking off his bag. "Y/n-chan. Hop on my back, I'll carry you."

You glance at him, taking a moment to think before nodding. "Okay Gon-Oniisan... What about your bag?"

"I can carry it in my arms." He smiled as you hopped onto his back, your arms wrapped around his neck. "I can wear it!" You offered to him. Gon nods slightly before handing it off to you, letting you slip it onto your back.

Once you were comfortable, Gon continued his run, catching up to his friends that were ahead still, eventually passing them to be a bit ahead. Your hair was pushed back a bit at the speed Gon was moving, it was fun to go this fast when you weren't on the ground.

It's been about 2 hours since the running had begun. Most were starting to stop running, your brother's eye was still on you as you were dozing off on the back of your new best friend. Your hold on him was loose so he had to make sure that you wouldn't fall off of him as he carried you around.

Hey wait up kid!" Y/n looked to see Leorio yelling at a boy with white hair. You recognized that face. You remembered seeing him once or twice last year as you were being watched over by Mr Illumi. He commented one or two times when you crossed, but nothing else than that. You knew his name atleast. Killua Zol... Zol? Zoldinglebells? You can't remember his last name.

Killua looked at him and hummed a reply. He didn't show any interest as he looked towards Leorio who continued to yell towards him.

"You should show some respect to the hunter exam!" "What do you mean?" Killua glanced back at him to which Leorio responded quickly. "Why are you using a skateboard?" Leorio pointed to the skateboard "That's cheating!"

"No, it's not" Gon interrupted the conversation between Leorio and Killua. "Satotz just told us to follow him." Leorio looking at Gon now, seemingly a bit annoyed that Gon argued against him. "Whose side are you on!!!"

Killua looked towards Gon after he defended him, he started to slow down his skateboard, not seeing the small child that was on his back before asking him a simple question. "Hey, how old are you?" Gon looked at him before answering simply. "I'm Twelve years old"

Killua nods a bit and kicked up his skateboard - doing a small trick as he did before grabbing the board in his arm. "I guess I'll run for a bit."

"Woah! That was cool!" Gon complimented Killua as he ran a bit faster, running next to Killua. Killua looked towards Gon and hummed a bit.

"I'm Killua" Killua introduced himself. "I'm Gon, and that's Y/n!" Gon smiled, mentioning the small sleepy girl on his back.

You glance up to see the familiar face of Killua. "Killu-Oniisan..." You mumble a bit, that caught Gon's attention at the name, similar name added onto his name. You clearly already knew the boy.

"I remember you, weren't you the girl my brother was taking care of last year..." Killua asked you. You just simply nod a bit before a yawn escaped your lips. "I wanna go to my Onii-chan.." You mumble a bit softly

Gon has good hearing as he heard your mumbling, allowing you to slip off his back and hand over his back back before you skipped forwards into the crowd. "Bai Bai..." You called out before getting your way towards the bubblegum pink male.

Foxy was held underneath his arm as he looks towards you. He smiled a bit seeing as your eyes were closing. Once you got close enough, he scooped you up into his arms.

You lean against him as you grabbed back onto Foxy, letting the plush rest in your arms as you gave into your tiredness and fell asleep, letting your brother carry you the rest of the way to the end of the first phase.

Y/n does/will have nicknames for each of her friends with the generic one being [Name-Oniisan]. So if you want to give some for Y/n feel free to!

Also I'm open for the characters to call Y/n a nickname! I have some of the old nicknames I plan to reuse from the original one. But I am taking new ones!

Fun fact: Y/n's favourite sweet is Bungee Gum because Hisoka always seems to carry it around with him. [Yes it was actually a sweet that Hisoka decided to name his nen after]
