Without hesitation, I quickly grabbed the phone from my bag. As I held the device, it felt like there was some sort of connection to it, different from an ordinary smartphone. This phone was designed for military use, equipped with special features.

I turned it on and opened the GPS app without checking the signal status on the phone. Initially, I thought that maybe it was just because the phone had just been powered on and hadn't connected to the network properly. But when I tried opening the GPS, a notification appeared.

[PLEASE CHECK NETWORK CONDITIONS IN YOUR AREA, OR TURN ON THE NETWORK]

"Holy Crap, no signal, huh? Maybe it's because we're in the forest or something. Well, let's wait for a bit," I muttered.

I waited for about ten minutes, but still, no network was detected on my phone. I kept rebooting it to try and catch a signal, but nothing worked. With patience as thin as a tissue, I finally snapped.

"Sh*t... no signal!?"

Angrily, I threw the phone to the ground, turning away in frustration. Luckily, the phone wasn't damaged at all, thanks to its impact-resistant design.

I started to feel certain that help wasn't coming, and just sitting around wouldn't help me find a solution. Based on what I had been thinking, it felt like I had landed in an unknown place, suggesting the possibility of being thrown into some uncharted location.

Connecting all the strange events I'd experienced, I started to think that I might be in another dimension. That was just my personal opinion, and I hoped it wasn't true. Panic began to set in, making it hard to distinguish logic from illusion. I kept pacing back and forth, feeling restless. My mind was chaotic and confused, and nothing seemed more important than finding a way out of this dark forest.

I paused for a moment, trying to take a deep breath, hoping to calm my increasingly troubled thoughts. Meanwhile, I attempted to start a campfire and began boiling water in a heat-resistant stainless steel cup. Wrapped in the stillness, the boiling water began to emit a calming steam. I brewed a cup of coffee, hoping it would ease my anxiety.

With a warm cup of coffee ready, I relaxed and took a sip.

"Ahh, screw it... this is a mess, no way this is happening... ah well... might as well have a coffee first!" I murmured with a small smile.

Each sip of the delicious coffee gradually calmed my mind, helping me find some inspiration to face the situation. The soothing effect of the coffee sparked an idea in my head. Maybe, by heading west, I would find a settlement there. I planned to follow that direction, hoping I could seek help. After taking the last sip, I started preparing to continue my journey westward.

I gathered my belongings and began to trek through the forest to the west. Staying alert, not rushing, I carefully stepped on the ground, breaking twigs and grass to leave a trail every few steps behind me. I did this in the hope that someone might eventually find me. At least I was making an effort, even if it seemed impossible.

As I wandered through the forest, each step seemed to slow down, as if time stopped where I stood. I saw unusual trees and plants with captivating shapes. I decided to stop for a moment and examine one of the nearby trees.

"This tree is really weird, huh?"

In front of me stood a sturdy tree trunk with leaves of bright silvery white, glowing amidst the forest darkness. I looked at the tree more closely and was surprised to see fruits growing on its branches. They looked like avocados but had a maroon color and a shape that almost resembled dragon fruits.

"Hmm, seems poisonous. Definitely can't eat that!" I thought to myself, reminding myself to be cautious in this mysterious forest.

I continued to explore, getting farther from my previous location, while carefully observing the surroundings. Unexpectedly, there were so many new and strange things in this forest that I'd never experienced before. Naturally, all of this only added to my confusion.
