I woke up, I was sure there was something happening today?.. Oh! Ralph's birthday! I still have the invitation stuck to my wall!

I'm happy he invited me. Even though being in Secondary School makes things more boring, Ralph always seems to make everything better.

I get my signature clothes out: Cyan yellow-striped top, yellow polo shirt to go underneath, ripped blue denim jeans.

I leave the clothes on my bed and go into my bathroom to take a shower.

Once I undressed, I got in.. I washed.. I dried.. I re-clothed.. Blah blah blah.

I went to grab my phone and text Ralph to see if he was awake yet.

I put my phone down and began walking towards the park, I sat on the swings and put my airpods in. I listened to my favorite song by my favorite band: Arctic Monkeys, Teddy Picker.

By the time the song ended, Ralph was walking towards me and sat on the swing next to me. We smiled at each other and just stared for a few seconds.
He seemed to be saying something, I couldn't hear from the music blaring in my ears. He ripped my airpods out and repeated himself.

"Are you coming to the party, then?" He asks.

"Oh, yeah." I reply, I was sure my parents wouldn't let me. I was gonna sneak out and go anyway.
