Dear Readers,

I'm writing this with a heavy heart, feeling hurt and discouraged. Despite pouring my soul into sharing my stories and thoughts, I've noticed a significant lack of engagement.

No votes, no comments, just silence.

It makes me wonder if my words are truly reaching anyone. Your feedback and support are what fuel my passion to continue sharing.

The absence of your interaction leaves me feeling:

- Unheard
- Unseen
- Unappreciated

I understand life gets busy, but a simple acknowledgement would mean the world.

If you're reading this, please know:

- Your silence hurts
- Your support heals

A small gesture from you can reignite my spark.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Your author
Mahii

Meera's pov

We were in the process of selecting dresses, and I had found one that I really liked. However, fate had other plans.

I decided to let go of my disappointment and moved on. I got up and headed to the washroom to freshen up. As I entered, I began fixing my hair in front of the mirror.

Suddenly, I felt a hand on my waist. I spun around, ready to scream, but he gently placed his hand on my cheek, rendering me speechless.

He skillfully trapped me between the washbasin and himself, leaving me no escape.

"Rudr," I whispered softly.

"My Meeru, how are you?" he replied.

I attempted to push him away, but he refused to let go.

"What's the point of pushing me? You're mine, after all," he said with a hint of possession.

This intense encounter left me breathless, with Rudr's words echoing in my mind.

"Don't overthink, my love. You've always been mine, are mine, and will forever be mine," Rudr said, his voice filled with emotion.

"R-Rudr, let me go. I don't love you," I stuttered, trying to break free.

He tightened his grip on my waist, his eyes burning with intensity. "You'll fall deeply in love with me too. But have you considered my love? Everything I've done, I've done for you, Meera. My heart beats only for you."

"I remember when I left for London; you were with Sidd. I was consumed by anger and jealousy," Rudr confessed.

"You know our parents are eager for us to tie the knot," he added.

I took a deep breath yes When he was in London for four years, Sidd and I went on a trip together. I can confidently say he's been stalking me."

"Our parents are keen on us getting married, but I'm unwilling. It's not because he's unattractive or flawed; I simply don't want to marry him," I clarified.

Rudr's expression remained unfazed, his determination palpable.

This intense exchange revealed the complexity of our emotions, Rudr's unwavering devotion, and my reluctance to surrender.

A solitary tear rolled down my cheek. "Why are you crying, my love?" Rudr asked, his voice laced with concern.

"Rudr, please, I'm terrified of you," I confessed, my voice trembling.

Yes, I'm fearful because of his commanding personality, his piercing words, and our complicated childhood history.

"Alright, I'll leave now, but we'll meet tonight," Rudr said, his tone hinting at an unspoken promise.

Before departing, he gently kissed my forehead. As he left, I took a deep, liberating breath and sank into my seat, gasping for air.

Siyu arrived, noticed my distress, and rushed to my side. "Meera, what's wrong? Are you okay?" she asked, worry etched on her face.

I nodded, still sniffling. "Meera, what did he want?" Siyu pressed.

As she inquired, I burst into uncontrollable tears and embraced her. "He's suffocating me, Siyu."

"Shh, calm down, Meera." Siyu soothed, stroking my hair.

"He doesn't dare touch you. Is your brother useless?" Siyu's anger rose.

"No, Siyu, our families are close friends. Imagine what will happen when they discover this," I whispered, fearful of the consequences.

This poignant moment exposed my vulnerability, Rudr's enigmatic intentions, and Siyu's unwavering support.
