The next morning, Taeyang woke up still smiling from the previous evening's events. Sangwoo's singing, though off-key, had been endearingly charming, and the time they spent together had left a lasting impression on him. However, there was work to be done, and Taeyang had to focus on the tasks ahead.
As he arrived at the office, his mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of Sangwoo. He glanced around, trying to spot him in the sea of coworkers. Just as he settled into his desk, his phone buzzed. It was a text from Sangwoo.
"Hey, Taeyang. How about we grab lunch together today? I found a new place that I think you'll like."
Taeyang felt a flutter in his chest. He quickly typed a response, trying to keep his enthusiasm in check. "Sure, sounds great! Looking forward to it."
The morning flew by, and soon it was time for lunch. Sangwoo led Taeyang to a cozy little café tucked away in a quiet alley. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a perfect escape from the bustling city.
As they sat down with their meals, Sangwoo's thoughts drifted toward Taeyang. "I hope he likes this place. I've been wanting to bring him here for a while."
Taeyang smiled, feeling a sense of warmth and connection. "This place is perfect, Sangwoo. Thanks for bringing me here."
They chatted about various topics, their conversation flowing effortlessly. Taeyang found himself growing more comfortable with Sangwoo, appreciating the small moments they shared.
After lunch, as they walked back to the office, Taeyang couldn't help but feel grateful for Sangwoo's presence in his life. Despite the challenges and the confusion, their bond was growing stronger.
The afternoon passed smoothly, but Taeyang's thoughts kept drifting back to Sangwoo. He caught himself stealing glances at him, each time greeted by a flurry of endearing thoughts.
"Taeyang seems happier today. I'm glad I could make his day a little better."
As the workday came to an end, Taeyang found himself lingering at his desk, hoping to catch a moment with Sangwoo. Just as he was about to leave, Sangwoo approached him, a shy smile on his face.
"Hey, Taeyang. Would you like to grab dinner together? There's a new restaurant I've been wanting to try."
Taeyang's heart skipped a beat. "I'd love to. Let's go."
The evening was filled with laughter and shared stories, their connection growing deeper with each passing moment. As they walked home, the city lights casting a warm glow around them, Taeyang felt a sense of contentment he hadn't known before.
Just before they parted ways, Sangwoo handed Taeyang a small gift. "I saw this and thought of you," he said, his eyes shining with sincerity.
Taeyang opened the package to find a beautifully crafted bookmark, adorned with a delicate design. "Thank you, Sangwoo. It's lovely." As Taeyang walked away Sangwoo suddenly called Taeyang.
"Wait a minute, Taeyang," Sangwoo called out, his voice tinged with hesitation. "I just had an idea. How about we ride one of the boats on the Han River?"
Taeyang turned, surprise and excitement lighting up his face. "A boat ride? That sounds amazing!"
Sangwoo's heart skipped a beat. Inside, his thoughts were a whirlwind. "Oh no, what if he says no? What if he thinks it's a terrible idea and my life will be over?"
Seeing Taeyang's enthusiastic reaction, Sangwoo's nerves eased slightly. "Great, let's go!"
They made their way to the dock, the anticipation building between them. The day was perfect, with clear skies and a gentle breeze. As they boarded the boat, Taeyang couldn't help but feel a sense of adventure.
