Monday morning arrived, and Taeyang Lee found himself back in the familiar hustle and bustle of the office. Despite the weekend's respite, he still felt the weight of his newfound ability to read minds. The constant influx of thoughts from those around him was overwhelming, and he was still grappling with his own confusing feelings towards Sangwoo.

Determined to make it through the day, Taeyang resolved to avoid direct eye contact with his colleagues as much as possible. He hoped this would help him manage the mental noise, but it was easier said than done.

As he settled into his desk, Jisoo, the ever-enthusiastic project manager, approached him with a bright smile. "Morning, Taeyang! Ready for another busy week?"

Taeyang forced a smile, trying to keep his gaze on his computer screen. "Morning, Jisoo. Yeah, ready as I'll ever be."

Jisoo's thoughts drifted into his mind. "I hope Taeyang and Sangwoo get together soon. They'd make such a cute couple."

Taeyang's cheeks flushed. He hadn't realized Jisoo was rooting for him and Sangwoo. It was both amusing and embarrassing.

Throughout the morning, Taeyang did his best to focus on his work, but the thoughts of his colleagues kept intruding. He glanced at Minseok, who was deep in concentration, and heard, "I need to finish this report before lunch. Can't afford any more delays."

Taeyang sighed, feeling a mix of empathy and frustration. It was hard to concentrate on his own tasks when he was constantly bombarded with everyone else's worries and concerns.

Just then, Sangwoo walked by, and Taeyang couldn't resist sneaking a glance. Immediately, he heard Sangwoo's thoughts. "Taeyang looks so focused. I wonder what he's thinking about. Maybe I should ask him to lunch again."

Taeyang's heart skipped a beat. The idea of spending more time with Sangwoo was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. He quickly looked away, trying to regain his composure.

As the day went on, Taeyang found himself in several amusing situations. During a team meeting, Jisoo was presenting a new project idea with her usual enthusiasm. Taeyang tried to avoid looking directly at her, but his curiosity got the better of him.

"Come on, Taeyang, just look at her," he thought to himself. When he finally did, he heard Jisoo's thoughts. "I hope this project impresses everyone. And maybe Taeyang will finally notice how good I am at my job."

Taeyang stifled a laugh, covering it with a cough. It was endearing to see how much Jisoo cared about her work and her colleagues' opinions.

Later, as he was grabbing a coffee in the break room, Minseok joined him. "Hey, Taeyang. How's your day going?"

Taeyang smiled, trying to keep his gaze on his coffee cup. "It's going alright. How about you?"

Minseok's thoughts drifted into his mind. "I hope Taeyang doesn't notice how tired I am. I really need a vacation."

Taeyang chuckled softly. "You look like you could use a break, Minseok. Maybe take a day off soon?"

Minseok blinked in surprise. "Yeah, maybe I will. Thanks, Taeyang."

As the afternoon wore on, Taeyang found himself in another funny yet sweet situation. He was working on a report when Sangwoo approached his desk, holding a small potted plant.

"Hey, Taeyang. I thought you might like this for your desk. It's supposed to help with stress," Sangwoo said, placing the plant on Taeyang's desk with a shy smile.

Taeyang looked up, accidentally reading Sangwoo's thoughts. "I hope he likes it. I've been wanting to do something nice for him."

Taeyang's heart warmed at the gesture. "Thanks, Sangwoo. It's really thoughtful of you."

Sangwoo's eyes sparkled with relief. "I'm glad you like it. If you need anything else, just let me know."

As Sangwoo walked away, Taeyang couldn't help but feel a growing sense of affection for him. Despite his confusion, moments like these made him appreciate Sangwoo's kindness and sincerity.

Throughout the day, Taeyang continued to navigate the challenges of his new ability. He tried his best to avoid direct eye contact, but it was nearly impossible. Every time he looked at Sangwoo, he heard another endearing thought.

"Taeyang's smile is so cute. I wish I could see it more often," Sangwoo mused during a brief interaction.

Taeyang's cheeks flushed, and he quickly looked away, feeling a mix of embarrassment and delight. It was clear that Sangwoo had a soft spot for him, and it made Taeyang's heart flutter.

As the workday came to an end, Taeyang felt both exhausted and exhilarated. He had managed to get through the day without too many mishaps, and he had gained a deeper understanding of his colleagues' thoughts and feelings.

Walking home, he reflected on the day's events. Despite the challenges, he felt a sense of gratitude for his new ability. It had given him a unique insight into the people around him, and it had brought him closer to Sangwoo in ways he hadn't expected.

As Taeyang walked home, the evening air was cool and refreshing. His mind was still a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, but he felt a sense of calm settling in. Just as he turned the corner, he reached into his bag to grab his phone and felt something unfamiliar—a cold bottle of coffee.

Curious, Taeyang pulled out the bottle and found a sticky note attached to it. His heart skipped a beat as he read the message: "A good work needs a good coffee" from Sangwoo, adorned with small, cute doodles.

Taeyang couldn't help but smile, realizing Sangwoo must have slipped the bottle into his bag during their break. The thoughtful gesture was the perfect end to a challenging day. He took a sip of the coffee, savoring the rich, comforting flavor.

As he continued his walk home, Taeyang felt lighter and more hopeful. This unexpected gesture promised new adventures and deeper connections.
