The entire week, we were doing nothing but exploring each other. I explored him, and he explored me. He was taking a break from work unless it was an emergency and Shawn was reliable enough. Trever was busy with the draft we had created, and he connected with Liam to remove their company as our investors. Liam did send me a long message apologising for the situation and how things would have been different if his company was not facing financial problems. I replied to him, mentioning to take care of his problems first because he did face the issue due to the murder. Beau was all cocky and away from Liam, and he asked me not to meet him or talk to him at all. I had always assumed it was jealousy and knew he would understand. In short, he hated and still hates Liam. I assumed their little fuel would settle down.
As time passed by, Beau and I had a crazy time, and the night before, I had to go back to work it was raining heavily, and there were loud thunders. Beau had gone out to meet Shawn. My dog Kylo and I were laying down in bed. The cute little toy poodle of mine was scared and hiding. I was rubbing his back until we both fell asleep. The night was scary, and I kept on dreaming about the blood and the murder of Mr. Liu. I woke up scared, Beau was looking at me, and he rubbed my head. He was not wearing a shirt.
"Are you still having nightmares?" He questioned.
"Yes." I replied.
"Weird! It's been a long time." He replied.
He opened his white pants to join me in bed. We were cuddling when Kylo kept interrupting to sleep in between us.
"Sometimes I wished Kylo didn't bother us." He stated.
I laughed and looked at him while holding his hand. There was a cat meowing outside the window, Kylo rushed to chase it, but he would not be able to catch the cat because of the glasses, so we were just laughing at him.
"Do you want to keep continuing your sessions with Bonnie once she comes back?" He questioned.
"I would love to" I quickly replied.
"She is there for your therapy, so keep it professional. Don't cross the boundaries you should not." He said but in more of a demanding manner.
"I will!" I replied.
"Alright!" He said and pulled me closer to him. He was warm and strong. I kept my hand on his arms, and we were silent for a long time until he questioned, "Are you still scared of me?"
I looked at him and answered, "I was scared. But then I know you love me. I just don't want you killing or murdering someone in front of me right now. I am really new to being around what you normally do."
"I understand, and I will respect that." He said.
Before we knew anything,we fell asleep, and the next morning, I was back to my work. Seeing too many faces at work was difficult for me. I was feeling suffocated and was trying hard to breathe properly. I asked Trever to delete all the cctv footage from that particular day of party, and he did without questioning me. I just wanted to be safe and keep Beau safe. I was still struggling from inside.
Even though Beau did not need my protection and he could keep himself safe, I did not want him to get caught or involved in any problems as everything that happened was because of my mistake. I tried to keep myself as calm as possible. I did not know what I had to do moving forward, but I had to keep myself as sane as possible. Even though I tried to be calm and knew I had to, my bloodstream was racing and heartbeat was pulsing, things fucked me up like an electrical current that touched my veins. I was feeling more miserable than ever. I was out of breathe and needed to breath. Trever came inside the cabin and saw me restless, he quickly called Bonnie and she tried to calm me down. I had started to have anxiety attacks. Trever had also called Beau and he rushed to me as quick as possible. I was almost calm when he reached and hugged me from behind. I hung up the call with Bonnie as she told me to talk to him. I know that mental health is important.
