Chapter 5

*Spring Break*

"Mom can I go to Great America?"

"Sure I don't care. I bought you that pass for a reason" she snobs.

*calls maddie*

"Yea I can go.. can you pick me up?"

"Sam will pick you up. we'll be there in a minute"

*at great america*

"I haven't been here in forever!" Sam says excitedly.

"Yea it's been a long time" maddie says.

"So what ride first?" I ask

"How about flight deck? that ride is my favorite" Sam says

We walk over and while in line there are these REALLY cute guys.

"Carmen" maddie whispers

I give her a what look.

"That dude with the blue shirt is like staring at you" she smiles

I turn around and like I didn't know God can creat such hot humans.

While in my stare he looked at me and winked.

I was going to smile at him but he was getting on the ride. The ride was a four seater ride and he was by himself because he was with a group of 5 people so maddie pushed me near the boarding area and the gates closed. I turned around to a smiley wicked girl which I gave a mean but thanking face to.

"Hi" I heard

I turned around to blue shirt dude, he was smiling.

"Hi" I reply back smiling.

"So you decided to ride with me?"

"You can say that" I giggled a little.

"I'm Lucas"

"I'm Carmen"

The ride started

"Um just to warn you I'm a really awful screamer"

"I can't wait to here" I felt him smirking I swear.

*screams like I'm getting murderer*

*ride ends*

"Wow Carmen you're a pretty good screamer" he smiled at the floor then looked at me.

"Thanks I guess" I'm blushhhhinggg

"So how old are you?"

"I'm 13 but my birthday is in 5 days"

"Cool I'm 14"

Maddie and Sam appear

"Ready for the next ride" she giggles

"Woah who's your new friend carmen?" Sam says smirking

"This is Lucas" I say blushing

"That's maddie and that's sam" I say to Lucas

His group ditched him so he decided to hang with us and basically we went on a lot of rides but it was getting to the time where we had to leave.

"Um so do you have Instagram or kik?"

"Yea" I give him both.

Maddie gives me a look that means that it's time to go.

"Um well it was nice meeting you and I guess we will text later?"

"Sure" he smiles and gives me a hug.

*later that night*

He started texting me and we got to know each other a lot more.

<so I'm moving to another area which will still be close to great America>

<do you know what school you are going to?>

<yea some place called Hawkins>

<no way. That's my school!>

<That's awesome!! We get to see each other :) I'll talk to you tomorrow, I have to go to bed because I have hockey tomorrow gn>
