Fear enveloped him, making him afraid to move. However, he remembered his family and decided to go look for them. The brother set off to find his family while trying to avoid the watchful gaze of the monster, walking through the winding alleys of the houses.
After running for several hours, he heard the muffled screams of his sister mixed with the cries of the villagers. Thinking he was getting closer, the brother quickened his pace and searched for a way out of the alley.
"Help, help me!" the faint voice of his sister called out.
"Sister, sister!" the brother shouted as he sought a way out of the alley.
The brother began to run in search of an exit until he stumbled over a barrel blocking his path. He fell, hitting the ground, but quickly got up and saw his sister running from a shadowy creature smaller than the first one he had seen.
As the sister ran, pleading for help, a group of villagers approached and confronted the shadowy creature. They held red crystals and began to unleash fire from their hands. The other villagers hid behind the fighters.
The brother was momentarily stunned by the scene and thought to himself, "It seems those crystals really have mysterious powers, but how can that be?"
Knowing his sister was safe, he ran towards him and the villagers who were taking cover. Just as he called out to his brother, a large hand came crashing down, crushing the fighters in front of the other villagers. It turned out to be the same creature he had seen before.
Shocked by what was happening, the brother stood frozen in fear, witnessing the fate of the fighters, and thought, "What is happening? Please, enough. What did I do wrong? Why am I here?" He shuddered to his bones.
His body wouldn't move; the fear that engulfed him restrained him entirely. He could only gaze at the monster, which suddenly turned its attention to him. The giant monster began to approach him slowly. Strangely, it seemed calmer.
Thinking his life would end there, he tried to move his terrified body. The brother attempted to lure the giant monster away from the villagers.
"Hey, strange monster, come here!" he shouted while running back into the previous alley.
The monster, which had initially approached slowly, began to chase him quickly. Hearing the monster's footsteps growing louder made his heart race.
The monster got closer to him and nearly reached him, but fortunately, the brother made it into the alley just in time.
"Ha! You fat weird monster, you can't fit in such a narrow alley!" he taunted.
While catching his breath, the monster began to transform into a strange black smoke. Its new form allowed it to enter the alley.
"Yup, this is karma," the brother said, watching as the monster started to enter and chase him again.
The brother ran through the alley, dodging the monster's grasp, bursting through doors and windows, and throwing furniture to hinder the monster's movement.
As he ran, he thought, "What is happening? Am I dead or not? But I still feel pain from when I fell. Oh God, please help me!"
Realizing his energy was fading, he quickly turned at a corner and hid in one of the houses. The monster, still in pursuit, lost track of him, roaring in anger.
Desperately trying to escape, he crawled with trembling legs. Fear and exhaustion made it difficult for him to move, and he could only crawl until he reached a table nearby, hoping to find food and drink to regain his strength.
"Water, please, I'm so tired. Is there food too?" he said, panting.
His hands groped the table since he could no longer stand. But after feeling around, he only found a half-filled cup of water and a glowing orange crystal necklace.
"This is the crystal I saw earlier. How do I use it?" he thought quietly.
He twisted the crystal in his hands, gripping it tightly, imitating the movements of the villagers he had seen earlier. However, the crystal showed no reaction at all. Feeling disappointed, he stood up and started looking for other crystals in the house.
He found a red crystal in a drawer by the door, a bright white crystal by the edge of the door, and a blue crystal in the bathroom. After gathering four crystals—orange, red, white, and blue—he placed them on the table. Just as he set down the last orange crystal, he felt his energy drain away again.
"Ouch, why am I so tired? Did the crystals give me energy?" the brother thought to himself.
He picked up the bright white crystal, but his energy didn't return. When he took the orange crystal, he felt his strength restore. Realizing the color of the crystals affected their powers, he began to deduce.
"Wait, my energy is coming back. Could this orange crystal be the one that gives me strength? If so, maybe the red one can unleash fire, and the blue one water, based on its color. And the white one, what could it do?"
Filled with great curiosity, he walked toward the exit, wanting to search for more crystals. When he opened the door, he saw the monster's large eyes blocking the entrance. It seemed the monster had heard his conversation alone.
"You must be lonely, right?" he said in annoyance.
The monster transformed again and began to walk in, leaving the brother no choice but to jump out through the window.
The chase resumed for the second time. However, the brother moved faster thanks to the orange crystal he held.
"Whoa, you're getting faster!" he glanced back while running.
Running at high speed made it difficult for him, especially because the alley was narrow. Spotting the way out, he quickened his pace, unaware that a river flowed ahead.
Once he exited the alley, he saw the river and tried to stop, but it was too late, and he fell in. Strangely, just before he plunged into the water, the monster grabbed his hand. In a panic, he used the red crystal to unleash fire from his hand, breaking the monster's grip and causing him to fall into the river.
He swam with all his might toward the shore. Fortunately, he managed to reach it and quickly moved away from the river, fearing the monster would follow him through the current.
After walking back to the village, he grabbed a pair of clothes hanging out to dry and put them on.
"Oh no, my clothes are soaking wet. But there's someone else's clothing!" he said as he went to the clothes that were drying.
"Perfect, these are dry. I'll take them!" he exclaimed, quickly changing into the fresh clothes.
After finishing changing, he checked his crystals again. Unfortunately, only one white crystal remained. Even so, he had to keep moving in search of his family.
AND THE ADVENTURE WILL BEGIN SOON
