I wear my smile like a spectral light,
A fragile mask in the dead of night.
To the world, I'm laughter, wild and free,
Yet shadows stir, hidden deep in me.Each curve of joy veils secrets untold,
Ghosts of sorrow I quietly hold.
Behind the laughter lies a whispered tear,
A haunted heart cloaked in layers of fear.Yet still, I glow, a flickering flame,
Bearing my sorrow without a name.
For every smile is strength regained,
Though sadness lingers like blood-stained rain. But perhaps one eve, in shadows deep,
I'll find the strength to let darkness seep.
And let the world see, without disguise,
The haunted truth behind my eyes.
