"Hi," I smile as he walks out of the house. "I was thinking we could go to dinner before the party." He smiles as he closes the door. He leads me toward his bike, and we both climb on. I can't believe Thomas was going to risk being in public with me, especially when he didn't announce to the public that he was no longer with Isabella. Butterflies flow through my stomach, turning it upside down. I strap the helmet over my head and Thomas starts the engine, then pulls out of his driveway.

"This place is amazing!" I whisper in awe as we walk into the restaurant. There are chandeliers everywhere, hanging off of them are tiny white sparkly diamonds that make the walls look like a disco ball is shining on them. The tables are all aligned with a colorful lace skirt, giving a vibrant feel to the place. As we approach the podium, Thomas takes my hand in his and intwines our fingers together. "Reservation name?" The man behind the podium asks. He is wearing a black tux with a silver tie, and a pearly white smile is painted over his face. "Sangster," Thomas announces. "Ahh, here it is. Right this way, Mister and Misses Sangster." His cheery smile becomes bigger, which seems impossible, as he leads us toward our table. "Mister and Misses Sangster?" I whisper questionably as a smirk appears on my face. "Why not?" He smiles and squeezes my hand. As we walk into the dining area, I feel a bright light flash on our faces, and I know right away it's a camera. "Hurry this way, I can find a more private area." The man rushes us toward a VIP area, and un does the red velvet rope, then re attaches it as we walk through. "Just right back here," he leads us back to the left, away from a camera's sight. "Thank you," Thomas says. "No problem Mr. Sangster." He smiles and begins to walk away when he turns around again. "A waiter will be right with you," he smiles once more and walks back toward his podium. "So, do you like it?" Thomas smirks as he picks up the menu placed on the table. "I love it," I glance around the tiny room we were in, and notice there's famous paintings on the walls. Hanging right above us is another chandelier, but this one has twice as many diamonds. "I've never been to such an expensive place." I realize that I kind of feel out of place, that this definitely wasn't the usual place I go to when I wanted a nice meal. "Well, you're going to have to get use to it, Mrs. Sangster." He winks, causing us both to laugh. "Hi, my name is Penny and I will be serving you today. What can I start you off with?" The waiter seems to appear out of nowhere, I guess I just wasn't paying attention to her arrival. "I'll take a coke," Thomas says laying his menu down. "I'll have the same." "Okay, I'll be right back with your drinks." She scribbles onto her note pad, and then disappears once more. "Have you heard anything from Isabella?" I suddenly feel uncomfortable being here, with him. It just doesn't feel right. "Why the sudden interest?" A slight smirk appears on his face, which makes me laugh. "I was just wondering." I pick up my menu and keep my head down, acting like I'm reading the fine print typed onto it. "Are you jealous?" He flashes a smile, and I set my menu down on the table. "Of course not, I'm just worried," he reaches for my hand across the table and takes it in his hand, squeezing it. "There's nothing to be worried about, love." The waiter reappears holding two glass cups filled with coke, and a straw placed in each of them. "Here you go," she smiles as she sets a cup in front of each of us. "Thank you," Thomas and I say. "You're welcome. So are you ready to order?" She pulls out her notepad and her pen, holding it at the ready. "I'll take steak please," I say as I fold my menu and place it on the table. "And for you, sir?" She asks taking the menu from in front of me. "I'll have the same," he turns to me and smiles, then hands her his menu. "Okay, it will be about ten minutes," she flashes a smile before walking away.
