“Stay close,” Kael instructed, his voice low and steady. “The darkness can be deceptive. Trust your instincts.”

The beam struck the Shadow Wraith, causing it to reel back, its claws swiping at the air in desperation. “Together!” Lena urged, feeling the bond between them strengthen.

With a final push, they unleashed their combined magic, enveloping the creature in a radiant glow. The Wraith let out a final, anguished roar before dissolving into shadows, leaving behind only a whisper that faded into silence.
