6 AM

I woke up to the sound of my alarm once again, I woke up with the biggest headache and fever, but still got out of bed to get ready for work, I lazily got dressed as I felt my body hurting at every single movement, I skipped breakfast, as I was too much in pain to do anything, I walked to the bus stop, as I felt physically exhausted and weak.

I stepped into the bus and saw there was not place to sit so I just stood as my legs could give up any moment. The bus finally arrived at my stop, I got out and made my way to the office,

I let out a quick cough, before I headed inside, Jenni immediately greeted me as she hugged me, "Can't wait for tonigh-" but quickly stopped as she looked at me in concern. "What happened to you, you looked perfectly fine yesterday, are you sick? She said as she placed her hand on my forehead. "You're burning hot, and yet you came to work?" She said in shock. "You need to rest don't worry about work go home." She said shooing me away.

"What's the point of going home, If I am already here?" I sighed and sat down at my desk. "Y/N you will work yourself out, don't push yourself over the limit." She said softly. "Thank you for your care, but I will be fine." I said smiling softly back. "If you need anything or want to go home, I will be right here so tell me immediately." She said as she sat down at her desk.  "I will." I said smiling, and start to work on the current project.

Jay walked out of his office and glanced at me, but quickly turned away, I scoffed and shook my head. "As if he wasn't in the wrong for yelling at me." I whispered.

"What was that?" Kason asked, making me jump. "Ah good morning." I changed topics. "Good morning, oh you look awful." He immediately said making an ooh sound after. "Thank you, you look great yourself too." I sarcastically said. "Yeah I don't know what happened to you but you should definitely go back home and rest, I am not dealing with you knocked out on the floor today." He sassily said.

"Aren't you just being so lovely today." I said sniffing the snot back up, "And you're just so disgustingly cute today." He said scrunching his nose. "All jokes aside, you are not welcome here till you're all healed up, so stand up and leave." He said smiling and pointing at the door. "He definitely has a point." Jenni said mingling in our conversation.

"You really do look awful, and probably feel awful aswell." She said but made it sound less rude, unlike Kason who just unfiltered. "Fine I am leaving." I said grabbing my bag and putting on my coat, "We definitely love you Y/N, take care." Kason said and waved me bye. "Get we soon, princess." Jenni yelled, I smiled at the both of them and headed to the elevator, waiting for it to arrive,

the doors opened and there he was leaning against the wall, staring at me as I couldn't read his expression, I quickly looked away, and just got in, I pressed on the ground floor, and kept my distance, It was awkward and uncomfortable, I should've gotten the next one, I sighed and looked down at my feet who were covered in more bandages from walking home, I had to cough really bad but kept it in making my throat tingle, and worsening my cough, I started to cough uncontrollably, and softly sniffed my snot back up, since it would be disgusting to do it loudly.

The doors finally opened, as I quickly got out of the elevator. I felt my body shaking and heat up, I walked out side feeling the cold breeze against my skin like it did last night, my body going numb, my legs under the goosebumps, I sneezed I hugged myself, and walked to catch a taxi, When a familiar car stopped infront of me.

The windows rolled down revealing Jay. "Get in I will take you home." He softly said, I stared at him, "No need, but thank you." I said and walked off, I wasn't in the mood to die today, as it felt like I was already dying. He drove behind me slowly, "Just get in Y/N, and stop acting so selfish." He said annoyed, "I said no thank you, so leave me alone." I fasten my pace, hoping he would just leave me alone, he sighed and looked at me out his window, "Just let me bring you home quickly and safely, thats all I am asking from you." He pleaded, I stopped and looked at him.
