Y/N stared at the script in his hand. Computer had gone through the trouble of writing it out, and had even recorded a few audio clips of his voice.

It was a pretty simple thing, really. A list of conversation topics, and a couple of responses to use. But, as he read it, he realized that Computer had put a lot of effort into the script.

He had to admit, it was pretty good.

But he wasn't sure if it would work. He had no idea how to act around Chloe, let alone make small talk. And he was even more confused when it came to romantic stuff.

He'd never really dated anyone, let alone had a girlfriend. The only girl he'd ever really hung out with was his mom, and she'd been a total mess.

He shook his head. Better to go with his gut than follow something written out for him. He had no idea how the internet eggheads wrote fanfictions, but he was sure they were better at it than him.

"Computer, you think this will work?"

"I believe so, sir. The script is designed to get the two of you to become friends. It may not be the most romantic thing, but it should at least allow you to have a conversation."

"Maybe. I just can't go with it. Some of this stuff is..."

"A little personal, yes, sir. However, the internet eggheads are a rather, shall we say, perceptive lot. If they were able to create a theory based off of a song, then they should be able to figure out if you and Miss Cerise are truly romantically involved."

"And what would happen if they did?"

"Well, the internet eggheads tend to exaggerate things. While the majority are harmless, there is a small subset that could pose a problem. They have already created theories that you and Miss Cerise have been dating, engaged, or married. And, if those theories were to gain traction, the shippers could potentially become violent."

"Violent? How?"

"Well, the shippers are a rather, ahem, passionate group. If they were to discover the truth, and found that the two of you are not actually in a relationship, the internet eggheads could turn against Miss Cerise."

"Turn against her? Why?"

"Well, the internet eggheads are the biggest supporters of Miss Cerise. If the theory is debunked, they could lose their faith in her. This could lead to a loss of popularity, and a loss of income."

Y/N put the paper away. "I doubt it'll come to that. But hang on to this, it might be useful later."

"As you wish, sir."

The cafe was quiet today. There were a few other patrons, but they were busy with their own conversations. Y/N looked around, trying to find Chloe.

She wasn't hard to spot. She was sitting at the table, reading something on her phone. He walked over and sat down, not bothering to get her attention. He began reading, not noticing the dumbfounded look on her face.

Chloe blinked, not believing her eyes. Y/N had just walked right up and sat down, not saying a word. She hadn't even heard him approach. She stared at him for a moment, before finally speaking.

"Um, hi."

Y/N glanced up from his phone, as if he was surprised she was there. "Hey. Nice day, isn't it?"

"Yeah, I guess." She looked around. "You come here often?"

"Sometimes. Mostly when I'm in town."

"Cool. You mind if I ask you a question?"
