Ashur stepped off the carriage to view the front of the big goblin manor. The Prince had been travelling for some time. He was told to keep away and simply wait for orders from Raithe, his mistress, but he just couldn't resist himself the moment word travelled that something bad had happened in Fennek. He took it as the perfect excuse to act a teeny bit defiant and make his way over to meet her and the rest of the party.
'I can't wait to tell her all the stuff I did that she asked me to. I did so much, so she shouldn't mind that I showed up without asking.'

He brightened as he walked up to the closed gate and saw a tinge of white-tipped ears and red eyes. Before he could get too excited Ashur saw blonde, pale skin and a familiar, toned body. It was Teuta, only she was carrying herself with sleek Artifice-made legs. Arms of similar smooth design crossed under her generous chest.
"Teuta? Open this gate." He demanded haughty.
"Why are your arms and legs replaced?" He wondered aloud flippantly as she opened the gate for him and took a few long steps back. As soon as he asked that, a wide smile grew across her lips. She stared down at the Prince with her red eyes in a way that shook him. He saw the familiar marking above her pubic area and relaxed, content that there was nothing she could do to harm him.

'If she does something that she believes, or even thinks will cause me harm it will cause her distress and pain. This means that she has to act in my best interest, no matter what. Furthermore...' He inspected her closely.
'Does she have the same ears and tails as Mistress Raithe? I thought that the process would take a long time. I haven't even gotten my ears, yet.' He lamented while approaching her.

"Teuta, where is Miss Raithe? I assume you are both well acquainted? I need to-" He stopped and gulped loudly. She was still just staring down at him hungrily and haughty in a way she never had before, and should never be able to.
"What has gotten into you?" He asked coarsely.

She restrained herself a bit longer. She stepped aside and let him pass, following closely behind. He cringed a little each time he heard her heavy footfalls right behind him. It was more like a tail than an escort.
"She wouldn't be expecting you. No one was."

"Y-yes, well-"

"No one wants you here. Everyone was fine. So what are you doing? What is so important that you'd act like this?" Teuta questioned harshly. Ashur turned around and glared at her sharply. She stopped and leaned back. He smirked.

"You can't talk to me that way. Not now, not ever. Now... I suppose I can tell you that, as she commanded, I poisoned that old mage, despite the fact that he was one of my supporters in the Academy. I'm sure she'll say I did well. I also-" He stopped as she rested her metal hand on his shoulder and squeezed.
"I, uh..." He began to sweat a little, then yelped as she squeezed tighter.
"Ow! You-" He grew pale as it dawned on him.
"You hurt me?" The marking on her belly seemed dim, like all the magic and power in it had been stripped out. The process of becoming a fox could have something to do with it. He did not have the luxury of considering the details. He tried to break free of her grip only to be turned around and bent forward. She placed a hand on the back of his neck and pinched him to pull him along, like a mother moving a pup where she liked.

"Ow! Owowo! Teuta, stop this at once! You are supposed to be my-"

"Knight? Then why do I feel zero loyalty towards you? It's almost as if all that I was was being restrained by that mark. That you would have no one following you if not for the power you held over them, or the advantage your position offered."

"Stop..." He begged.

"Almost like no one wants you. Isn't that what you think? If you didn't force others to be around you, if you didn't bring down those who could compete, if you didn't do everything you could to secure things that people would want-"
