Mary Jane hurried out behind Daredevil and her other rescuer, maneuvering around the guys the other two were fighting as bodies were getting smacked around everywhere. She turned to May and Anna, observing that they had fallen behind a little.
"Come on!" she said as she hurried back, taking the older women by the hand. She then led them along, trying her best to help them increase their pace as they worked their way through the halls. She ducked as a man flew over her head, smacking the wall beside her before carrying on. Eventually, they came to an exit, moving past the other two as they fought through a few final opponents. M.J. led them out into the fresh air, the sky now completely dark as night had fallen.
Her aunt tried to speak first.
"Mary Jane..."
Unfortunately, she was cut off by the sound of a vehicle pulling up. More men quickly came out with weapons, one even with a rocket launcher. He quickly aimed and fired it in their direction. Before M.J. could even react, she was suddenly tackled from behind, the sound of the rocket's explosion reverberating behind her. She turned over to find that it was Daredevil who had tackled her out of the way.
When she glanced around, she found that her elders were not so lucky, as her aunt was lying in a heap on the ground. May had it worse however; she could only see her backside, the woman's head and legs covered in large rubble.
"No..."
She hurried to get up, with her rescuer quickly moving towards them as well. While Peter's horn-headed friend got the rubble off May, she checked on her aunt.
"Aunt Anna, can you hear me?"
Fortunately, the woman stirred, slowly coming to. M.J. helped her up, the two of them turning back to May, the rubble having been removed from her. She was still unconscious though, her body completely limp. M.J. and her aunt hurried over.
"Is she..."
"She's alive," Daredevil confirmed. Their other rescuer, the one who looked like some kind of large lion-human hybrid, came over as well; he had apparently emerged sometime during the fight and handled the reinforcements. Mary Jane's mind was still racing to process everything that had happened in even the last ten minutes, but there was one thing she knew she had to do.
"Get them out of here," she said, trying to get past them when her aunt grabbed her.
"Where are you going??"
"I'm going after Peter," M.J. replied.
"Are you insane!?" her aunt questioned.
"She's right," the Puma-human (who she was pretty sure was Peter's boss) said, "you really should..."
"I SAID GO!!" M.J. yelled before pulling out of her aunt's grip and taking off. The woman screamed in protest, but she didn't care. If she hurried, maybe she could pick up the trail of where Peter was headed. Granted, she didn't have the first idea what she would do when she caught up to them, but she just couldn't escape the sinking feeling in her heart that something bad was going to happen to the love of her life... something she wasn't going to just sit back and allow to happen if she could.

Firing a web, Peter finally snagged onto the Goblin's glider just in time for him to tilt it upward, the two of them rocketing towards the clouds. They soared above even the tallest skyscrapers, but he persisted, tugging his way up towards his enemy one grip at a time. The Goblin glanced back at him, smiling before leveling the glider again, producing something of a whiplash effect. Nevertheless, Peter held on, though some of his momentum was lost.
His spider sense suddenly rang out, prompting him to turn to the side and find Harry flying up towards him. Releasing his grip on the web, he let himself drift until he landed on the glider, his best friend snagging him out of the air.
