He just feels lonely. And tired. And he doesn't know what to do.

That is, until Nene texts him, and the two end up having an interesting conversation.

"Trick or treat!"

Tsukasa opened the door, smiling brightly as he dropped a piece of candy into each of the children's bags. "A shark and a jellyfish, huh? That's adorable!"

"Thank you, mister!" One of the kids giggled, nudging her friend. "See? I told you it was a good idea!"

They walked off, and Tsukasa sighed, closing the door. It wouldn't be long until another group of kids waddled up to the door to ask for more candy.

Tsukasa set the bowl down on a chair beside the door, and walked back over to his couch. He hadn't been doing much for the past hour. Just.. watching a musical with the occasional (and very much frequent) interruption of the doorbell ringing.

He unpaused the TV, humming along to the songs as the characters danced and sung on stage. That was where Tsukasa aspired to be one day- on a big stage, dancing and acting and singing and making the audience smile.

And yet..

Tsukasa frowned. He didn't feel like smiling right now. In fact, he didn't really feel.. anything at the moment. Not sad, but not exactly happy, either. It was something in between, but Tsukasa was never sure what the feeling was. It would be so much better if he could just describe it in words- hell, it would be amazing if there was a word for how he felt. But whatever it was, Tsukasa couldn't find what word it was.

All he knew was that it was something in-between. That, and this musical would have been way better if someone was watching it beside him.

Tsukasa wished that someone was here. It would make him feel better.. and the house would be less quiet that way, too. It would be better if someone was here with him.

He shook his head as the doorbell rang once more. Tsukasa was running out of candy to give out. Maybe these kids would be the last one. He didn't feel like restocking, anyway.

..Did Tsukasa even have any restocks? He didn't think he did anymore.. he already used them all up, didn't he? It would just be the remainders of this bowl.

Always giving. Giving, giving, giving, and leaving nothing for yourself.

The thought didn't rest very well in Tsukasa's chest. He wasn't sure how to describe the feeling, either.

But he felt... god, he didn't know.

"Sorry for the wait!" Tsukasa laughed awkwardly as he swung the door open. He looked down at the small wave of children, all excitedly waving their small bags in front of him and yelling out "Trick or treat!", chuckling lightly. Two for that kid, then the next, and the next, and the next... each one of them got two in the end.

And when the crowd finally left, and Tsukasa turned off his porch light, he discovered that there were no more candies left in the bag. He was hoping that he could save the last few for his family when they came home, but.. it seemed that there was nothing left.
