A/N: Wow! I uploaded the next chapther before my deadline! This was just a little something i scribbled down during class, and then fixed it when I came home (yes I wrote most of it during class... ^^) Hope you like it!

*BOOP!* Julia out! *brofist*

I wake up to the sound of heels against wooden floor. I barely get to open my eyes before Regina enters the room.

“Up you get! We have a big, big day ahead of us!” She squeaks with her silly capitol accent. I slowly drag myself out of the comfy sheets and into the shower. It has at least one hundred buttons, all with different water temperature, pressure, and there are at least fifty different soaps. I choose one with raspberry smell.

As soon as I get out of the shower, I drag on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white shirt and walk pointlessly around the room for at least fifteen minutes before Regina opens the door again and says it’s time for breakfast.

This time I find my way to the lounge where two tables have been set up, laden with food. I take a good ten minutes to walk around and carefully pick my food, remembering how I felt yesterday after the reaping. The brown-haired boy comes into my mind again. I can’t remember his name, but his caramel brown eyes. I quickly shake my head to get away from the thoughts. Whoever he is, he’s from the district that killed my brother, and I can never like one of those.

I cover my plate in bacon and pancakes, and fill a bowl with cereal and milk. When I sit down, I see a cup of hot chocolate in front of me. I love hot chocolate, it reminds me of home, and Zarah. I wonder what she and mom are up to, maybe they’re trying to move on, or maybe they’re missing me. In any case, I’m not going home, I’m never going to see them again, so I better forget.

I swallow the last of my hot chocolate as Emerald enters the room. Her eyes are bloodshot and her hair messy, I guess she didn’t sleep very well tonight. I wave at her, and this time, she waves back. I don’t want to get too attached in someone who’s going to die, so I decide to leave before she tries to make conversation.

I spend the next hours in my room, resting on my bed, thinking. We’ll be arriving at the Capitol soon, and then we’ll get to see the other tributes more carefully. I found myself thinking that I’ll be looking forward to see the others. I am from a career district, so hopefully I won’t go completely unnoticed.

After another 2 hours of pointless walking around in my room, I decide to explore the train. Probably not the best you can do, but hey, I’m going to die within two weeks, I do deserve some fun don’t I? I open my door and sneak out the corridor. It’s completely empty though I can hear muffled voices from what I think is the lounge. The floor is covered in carpet, making my steps quiet. As I sneak down the hallway, I can’t help but walk past Emeralds room. It sounds like she’s crying. Poor girl, I bet she misses home. She’s only fifteen, that’s too young to die. I can’t help but with that if I don’t make it, I hope she does. Suddenly, it turns dark and the only things lighting this place up are the lights on the walls. It stays black for about ten minutes and then the light is back, and through the windows you can see a great view of the Capitol. I’ve never been there, but it sure looks magical. I return back to reality when I hear the sound of a door opening and I quickly run back to my room, barely closing the door before it’s opened again, this time by Samantha. Her brown hair is braided in two pigtails, making her look at least five years younger and she’s wearing an almost wedding-looking white dress, probably meant for a wedding. It touches the ground when she walks and I can’t help but stare at her figure. She looks gorgeous and I wonder how she got through The Games alive. But I’m not much for girls, actually.

“We’re arriving at The Capitol in ten minutes; get something nice on and I’ll see you at the train station” She speaks and leaves before I barely get to open my mouth to answer.  I leave my room, and look around in the corridor. I hear voices from the lounge and decide to go there. Once I open the door, I only see Emerald, pacing back and forth in front of the now empty table.
