I'm waiting on the parking lot in front of my building for Mr. Kim. To say I'm nervous would be an underestimate. I predicted that I would be extremely agitated but not this much. I'm constantly wiping out the droplets of sweat off my forehead, and I'm afraid to ruin my makeup that Chaeyoung has put on me. But anyway, like Chaeyoung always says, I must have self-esteem; I don't need these makeup to look beautiful because I already am.
I take a breath, feeling suddenly full of myself, forgetting my worries. I don't even need to be that worried, I mean, I'm just going out with a friend of mine, nothing else. I take my lip balm out of my jeans pocket to apply on my stunning lips. I was applying on my lower lip when I heard a car stop behind me. I don't pay much attention until the driver honks.
My heart stops.
"Mr. Jeon Jungkook." He calls my name with deep voice. I turn slowly towards his car, and here he is, looking at me through his navy blue sunglasses that match perfectly with his navy blue tuxedo. There's a ghost of smile lingering on his face, and his veiny hands on the steering wheel are making me blush.
"Your lips already look luscious, yet you're still wearing the lip balm," he comments. My heart raced as fast as Formula 1 car, and I think I'm blushing more than before.
"Hello, sir," I greet him, hoping he hear my low tone.
He nods before smirking — I kind of like his smirk. He tells me to get in the car, and I obey him. Soon, he starts the engine and starts to drive to who knows where.
My heart is pounding, and I mentally implore him to end the silent atmosphere so he can't hear my heartbeats. I'm staring at my fiddled fingers on my lap as if they are the most interesting things right now.
"Where would you like to go, Jungkook?" Thank you, Moon Goddess, for letting him talk.
"I... umm," I hesitate. I don't know the answer. If it was a question from Chaeyoung, I would most probably tell her to the nearest restaurant, which is a little cheap, but I can't tell him the same, considering his status. Anyway, I don't think I know some high status hotels or restaurants.
"What do you say?"
"I really don't know, sir. Please, you decide," I answer him timidly.
"Why are you so timid, Jungkook?" He looks at me with his fierce gaze. "Aren't we friends?"
I blush before a ghost of a smile comes to my face, and I look down.
"I think it's just my nature."
"I see."
After another five minutes of driving, it comes to a stop. I look outside curiously, my mouth agape as I look at the big five-star hotel in front of my eyes.
This shit is out of my budget!
My mind goes numb, I even think that stepping inside this building will cost a lot. It is not suitable for someone like me.
"Let's get out, shall we?" Mr. Kim's voice startles me, and I nod quietly.
I get out and close the car door behind me. I look at Mr. Kim, his hair is shining under the sunlight, my heart skips a beat as he runs his long hand through his hair. Oh, my poor heart! He takes off his sunglasses and puts them in his pants' pocket. He walks gracefully with his board shoulder, showing off his dominance while I follow him like a lost puppy.
The security men open the door and bow down to us. I bow down a little to them too — my mom always told me to be respectful — but Mr. Kim didn't care. Well, he's born with a gold spoon in his mouth, so I don't think he cares much about these security men.
