FUNCTION

It was finally the day of the function as the whole college was burning with excitement. All were excited to see the amazing singing and dancing performance along with the debates on certain topics it was gonna be fun.

Jimin was standing infront of the mirrors as he nervously played with the sleeves of his gorgeous red suit.

He was breathing in and out deeply to calm down his nerves as the other dancers around him very getting ready as well.

He was gonna perform two times today. One performance was salsa with Eric and the second one was his solo contemporary dance performance.

" All the best jimin.....and don't be nervous!" A girl from the dance club cheered as she noticed jimin being nervous.

Jimin smiled at her and nodded.

" Yeah thank.....you too all the best!" He said and the girl nodded smiling.

Only he, rosé and yoongi were performing in the function. He was in the dance while yoongi and rosé were performing from the music club.

" Hey jimin ready?" Eric asked as jimin looked at him nervously.

" Yeah I'm ready but I'm so nervous hyung.........what if......what if I mess up?" He asked as Eric smiled at him.

" You won't ........and even if you did it's not a big deal we're humans we make mistakes. Beside it's just a function not a competition or something. It's just for fun." He said and jimin nodded.

Suddenly jimin's phone began ringing as jimin picked it up quickly seeing it was jungkook.

" Kookie!" He greeted excitedly.

" Jimin I'm gonna beat someone up." Jungkook said grumpily from the other side of phone.

" What why?"

" This piece of shit person is not letting me get inside.......I wanna meet you!" He said as jimin laughed.

" Oh god kookie! They won't let anyone in. Don't worry I'll meet you after the function. You will be there in the audience to cheer for me right?" He asked smiling.

" Yup....I'm always there for you.....and all the best.......but if you say I'll knock this person down and sneak in to meet you......" Jungkook was saying but jimin cut him off.

" No kookie you're not beating anyone." Jimin laughed.

" Okay fine!" He huffed grumpily.

" Okay bye kookie...." He said smiling.

" Bye....and all the best baby." He said as jimin hummed smiling before hanging up the call.

He looked beside him to see Eric averting his gaze away from him and looking down making him frown but he ignored it and sat down waiting for his turn to come.

Jungkook and his other friends were sitting in the audience enjoying the function.

It was now the time for rosé and yoongi's performance where yoongi was playing the piano and rosé was singing.

Both jisoo and taehyung began loudly cheering for their partners from the audience. Jungkook also clapped for his cousin and friend as they both were doing an amazing job.

After their performance was over everyone cheered and clapped for them. And this is how the next few performances went on.

Now it was finally jimin and Eric's turn as all his friends cheered. Eventhough jungkook was jealous of that eric........ he would admit that but he still cheered for jimin.

Jimin and Eric entered the stage as everyone clapped. Jimin was wearing a red suit and he looked so hot and beautiful. The music started and jungkook watched as jimin and eric performed so effortlessly and beautifully.

The dance seemed so difficult and fast but they both nailed it. When the performance ended everyone clapped and cheered for them loudly.

Jungkook smiled at clapped as both jimin and Eric bowed and left the the stage.

Some more dances were performed and finally it was time for the last performance and Jungkook and his friends perked up as they realised that it was jimin's solo dance.

The lights dimmed as jimin entered the stage looking like an absolute angel. He entered so elegantly that everyone were already mesmerized.

Jungkook's mouth hung open along with everyone as they watched jimin perform. Jungkook knew jimin was an amazing dancer and he was killing it. He took out his phhone to record the performance for you know.......... research purposes.

The way he moved and glided on the whole stage so elegantly and beautifully made everyone mesmerized and speechless.

When the performance ended everyone stood up to clap for him and the whole auditorium was in awe.

Jungkook and his friend were cheering for jimin and waving at him. And when jimin noticed them he smiled at bowed at the audience before leaving.

Jimin ran out of the dance room changed in his yellow sweater and skin tight jeans to search for his friends . He got out to see them all standing in a circle and talking.

" Guys!" Jimin greeted happily as everyone jumped on him hugging him making him laugh loudly.

" You were amazing jimin!" Taehyung complimented as jimin smiled.

" Thanks.."

" You really were amazing.....i loved your performance." jungkook whispered kissing jimin who kissed him back.

" Oh no...... not all this PDA now" jin complained as jungkook just rolled his eyes at them.

" What are we gonna do now?" Jimin asked.

" We're going for dinner."

" The food is amazing here! Taehyung said with food stuffed in his mouth as some of it come out when he talked.

" Gosh! Don't you know how to eat?" Jungkook asked disgusted as taehyung showed him his middle finger.

" Oh tae....baby tell them now!" Rosé said to taehyung making everyone confused.

" Oh yeah right ! So I have a vacation house in daegu....."

" And we know that stop bragging." Yoongi said as everyone laughed.

" Ugh! Let me finish.........so yeah I was thinking that we should go there for a few day for our winter breaks." He said and everyone became interested.

" It's amazing there..........and we can do bornfire and all it will be so fun......also were having a Christmas party there.....so......what do you think?"

" Omg let's go it'll be so fun!" Jimin said excitedly as everyone nodded agreeing as well after a while.

" But let me warn you.......there will be some of my cousins as well." Taehyung added.

" Oh that's not a problem." Namjoon said.

" Okay then bitches.....were gonna celebrate Christmas in daegu!" Rosé said as everyone cheered along with her.
