•Y/n's POV•

In the afternoon, when I emerged out of the bathroom after a quick shower, the fully arranged bedroom in a salon form flashed in front of me. I fastened my gaze around the room. Many female and male staff were walked in back and forth in rush. The mirror of dressing table was arranged with lights at its borders. A lady staff was issuing some cosmetics on a table. It was reception day. The only thought of it increases my heartbeat. I stood there wordlessly for seconds with my thoughts racing. I spotted mom standing steps away from the door instructing the staff. I approached her and said,

“Mom, you just summoned the whole salon!”

She chuckled at my statement.

“Of course! I want you to look special because today’s day is special itself, I want every person to get amused when they look at your stunning appearance, including media” declared mom.

I smiled cheekily but abruptly made a plain face.

“Why? Because I'm Jeon Jungkook’s wife?” I said in a fake disappointing tone.

“Absolutely not, dear. I want you to look special because you are a new member in our family. You will be represented as Jeons’ achivement and pride. You are special in your own, there’s no need to credit Jungkook but being his wife, you will face chaos but you will be ensured that it will cause no harm to your self respect.”

The sincerity in her tone made me feel so overwhelmed. She smiled softly at me understanding my expression.

“Aish, why are you so sweet. I wonder that if you could give some of your sweetness to your son. It will be a lot easier, you know.” I said mischievously and mom started laughing.

“Oh dear! I wish I could give him my personality but sadly, he’s just like his father you know.” she said before chuckling.

“Really? But, dad is friendlier.” I objected.

“God, do you even know how I managed to make him like this? Although, we were in love he was less expressive. I was the one to confess and make steps forward.”

Her words left me surprised.

“Jinja? How did you both make it up to this far?” I asked as it was interesting to hear about their loverstory.

Mom flustered a little but began confidently.

“It is about trust. Though Initially he was shy and reserved, I always had faith that one day we will be happier. I trusted him because I knew he loved me. Till now, I believe him and maybe he loves me more I guess.”

I looked at her in awe.

“Aww, old love I see..You must be feeling nostalgic.” I teased her a little.

Mom resisted but her flustered face couldn’t hide for long. We said nothing for some moment until mom broke the silence.

“Don't worry.” she said assuringly while looking at me.

“Huh?” I got confused about what she was talking about.

“I assure you that you will not regret marrying him, ever. He might be less expressive but he will need time. Believe me, he won’t let you go down. Being cold doesn’t mean having a rude personality. He may have sarcastic humour but I know you will handle it.—” she winked at me and continued, “All you need to do is put efforts. Build your relationship stronger with him. Through trust, you both will get along sooner.” she finished with a smile and patted my head.

“Other things can wait, right?~” She emphasised like a poem.

“Oh, c'mon mom!”

I got flustered after understanding what she meant of those words.
