After a long day, Billy felt a mixture of exhaustion and relief. Lying down on his bed, he immediately drifted off to sleep, but his rest was anything but peaceful. It felt as if he were floating through the sky, weightless and untethered. As he opened his eyes, he realized he was traveling at the speed of light, soaring above the clouds inside a translucent sphere. The sensation of speed was dizzying. The sphere hurtled downward, accelerating so fast that it shattered the sound barrier within seconds. Just as suddenly, it stopped and hovered above a vast, dark ocean before plunging into the depths. Billy watched in awe as a massive gate loomed before him. The sphere slowed, allowing him to take in his surroundings.Within the gate, an enormous underwater facility stretched out in a seemingly endless hallway lit by an eerie, fluorescent glow. Gigantic machines whirred and hissed in every corner, casting long shadows that danced menacingly against the walls. As the sphere moved forward, Billy noticed numerous rooms, each marked only by a number, void of any names or indicators. The sphere came to a halt next to a row of identical spheres. The door slid open, and a strange, imposing creature, along with a stern-looking woman in a military uniform devoid of any rank or name, approached him."Follow me," the woman commanded in a cold, emotionless voice. Billy hesitated but found himself stepping out of the sphere. As he moved forward, the creature loomed behind him, its unsettling presence urging him onward.Fear gripped Billy as they traversed the metallic corridor. The walls seemed to close in, the distant hum of machinery resonating like a heartbeat growing louder with each step. He couldn't shake the feeling that his every move was being watched, that he had unwittingly become a pawn in a much larger game. Yet, amidst the terror, a sliver of curiosity kept him moving, desperate to uncover the truth behind this surreal journey. As Billy started walking, he noticed something strange about the woman. When he tried to ask her about the place, all she could say was, "That's classified," over and over again. Billy felt as though she was a robot. In a moment of desperation, he tried to punch her but realized her skin was not metal. Before he could process this, a searing pain shot through his head, and he lost consciousness. The next thing Billy knew, he was back in his bed, drenched in sweat. He sat up abruptly, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "Was it all real or just a dream?" he thought, his mind racing. He looked to his nightstand and saw the watch. Confusion washed over him—he was sure the professor had the watch.Billy picked up the watch, inspecting it closely. Panic set in as he grabbed the phone to call Professor Hendricks, but there was no answer. "Where is he? What happened?" Billy muttered to himself, the fear growing. Was he losing his mind? With a desperate need to escape and clear his head, Billy decided he would go camping in the desert. He packed his gear hastily and headed for the door. As he opened it, he noticed a black car with tinted windows parked next to his house. "Probably just a new neighbor," he thought, though unease gnawed at him.Billy got into his jeep and started driving towards the desert. It was 4 a.m., and the road stretched out endlessly before him. He had traveled this route many times, but it never felt this eerie. He couldn't shake the feeling that something—or someone—was watching him.As he drove, his jeep suddenly sputtered and came to a halt. Frustrated, Billy got out to check the engine, but as he looked up at the sky, he felt an overwhelming sense of paralysis. He couldn't move, his body frozen in place. A cold sweat broke out on his forehead as he sensed a presence far beyond his understanding. The vast, empty road and the silence of the desert became suffocating.Fearful thoughts raced through Billy's mind: Had he been discovered? Was he being hunted? As he stood there, immobile and terrified, the realization hit him hard—his journey into the unknown had only just begun.
