In the quiet, softly lit Guidance Office at Pampkeen Academy, Amara Nightingale sat across from Erio Everbloom, her calm and encouraging presence creating a safe space for their conversation. Amara's warm smile softened her features as she listened to Erio express his struggles.

"Ms. Amara," Erio began, leaning forward a little, his voice carrying a mix of hope and frustration, "is there a shortcut to improve myself and impress someone at the same time?"

Amara nodded thoughtfully, leaning forward to meet Erio's gaze. "It's a great question, Erio, and I can understand why you'd want to see results quickly. Sometimes, when we feel strongly about impressing someone, the pressure can feel intense. But the truth is, real growth doesn't happen through shortcuts," she replied, her voice gentle but firm.

Erio's shoulders sagged a little. "So... there's no easy way?"

She smiled encouragingly, "There are ways to make self-improvement feel more manageable, but to truly grow and make a lasting impression, the key is consistency and authenticity." She paused, making sure he understood. "Impressing someone might feel rewarding at the moment, but if you focus on improving for yourself, you'll feel more fulfilled. That inner confidence? It's contagious and makes a bigger impression than anything else."

Erio thought about her words, looking down as he fidgeted with his hands. "But what if I fail? I'm scared they'll see me as weak or not enough."

"Erio," Amara said softly, "growth is all about learning to face those fears. It's okay to make mistakes; that's part of improving. In fact, people are often more impressed when they see that someone is willing to learn, to pick themselves up and try again." She paused before continuing, "And remember, it's important to set small goals for yourself. Take it step by step. That way, each small achievement will build your confidence and bring you closer to your best self."

A flicker of hope crossed Erio's face. "So, focus on small goals...like working on my patience or maybe becoming more open to others?"

"Exactly!" Amara nodded, pleased with his understanding. "Think about qualities you admire in others, like patience, kindness, or honesty. Work on those within yourself, but give yourself time. There's no rush—what matters most is how consistent and genuine your growth is. That way, whoever you're hoping to impress will notice the real, evolving you."

Erio smiled, a bit more confident, and nodded. "Thank you, Ms. Amara. I think...I'll try that."

Amara's face softened with pride. "That's the spirit, Erio. You'll do great."

Ms. Amara, who was still chuckling at his resolve and encouragement. Then, with a deep breath, Erio spoke up, "I'll do my best to become worthy as Arisu's husband!"

Ms. Amara's cheeks turned pink as she mentally cheered, "Omg, you guys are so young! But that's the spirit!" Her internal excitement was interrupted when the door creaked open, and Arisu peeked in.

"Erio!" Arisu chirped, looking delighted. "You were here?" Erio's heart skipped, and despite his calm face, his pulse was racing. Ms. Amara gave him a supportive thumbs-up. "You can do this, Erio."

With robotic steps, Erio walked past Arisu, then knelt down in a chivalrous manner, gently taking her hand and pressing a soft kiss on it. "I'll be on my way, my princess."

Ms. Amara squealed inwardly, her face contorted in shocked delight. "Oh my gosh!" she thought, watching the scene unfold.

"What are you doing, Erio?" Arisu stammered, cheeks flushed, looking both surprised and embarrassed.

Just as Erio exited, Aiko arrived and tilted her head at her sister's reaction. "What happened to you, sissy?" she teased, noting Arisu's very obvious blush.
