Nelly drifted into a nightmare, his vision filled with strange, monstrous figures closing in on Mira, who was bound and cornered. He felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness as he looked around; his friends lay scattered, beaten and unmoving. Panic surged in his chest as a massive, mutated beast lunged at Mira. But as he gathered his strength, he broke into a run, slamming into the creature with everything he had. Mira was thrown across the room, her eyes meeting his in a look of pure terror just before she hit the wall. With a sickening crack, she fell, her face fading in his vision.

"MIRA!" Nelly jolted awake, sweat pouring down his face, heart pounding. He sat up, clutching his chest as he breathed hard, steadying himself. "It's... still not enough," he murmured to himself, determination flooding his veins. "I've got to keep improving, anything I can learn, anything to make them all safe, even if it means..."

Just then, the doorbell rang. Curious, he glanced out the window and saw Mira, smiling up at him, holding a bag of snacks. He rushed to open the door, immediately pulling her into a hug, relief and excitement washing over him. Mira laughed in surprise, hugging him back.

"You could've warned me, you know," he teased, setting down her bags.

"I wanted to surprise you!" she replied with a playful grin. She raised an eyebrow at his still-flushed appearance. "Did I interrupt something?"

"Oh, just a dream," he said, brushing it off, "but I'm glad to see you."

After they settled in, Mira noticed the quiet house. "Where are the angels?" she asked.

"Oh, Aiko and Arisu are out with Mom for family day," he replied. His heart beat faster, feeling something exciting brewing in the air.

"Well, that makes two of us here alone," Mira said, flashing him a mysterious smile. "Let me put this cake in the fridge, and then... meet me upstairs?"

Nelly couldn't help the grin on his face. "Alright, darling."

Upstairs, Nelly waited, his heart thudding with anticipation. He turned as Mira entered the room, dressed in an elegant but daring outfit. She smiled, showing just a hint of shyness.

"What do you think?" she asked softly, seeing the way he froze, wide-eyed. She moved closer, her gaze not leaving his. "Now that's a good reaction."

"Mira? What's with the 'mommy' vibes?" he asked, half in awe, half stunned.

"Shh... Mommy's here to spoil you," she whispered with a wink. They laughed and shared a sweet, romantic moment as Nelly held her close, happiness filling them both.

As Nelly was caught up in the playful moment with Mira, the door swung open, and in walked his mother, Airi. Her eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene, and Mira's face turned beet red.

"Ara~ sorry to break your privacy! I didn't know you two were being so... adventurous," Airi said, trying to maintain a straight face. "I was about to invite you both to dinner!"

"MOM!! We'll just come down later!" Nelly shouted, quickly pulling up his pants and tossing a blanket around Mira to cover her surprise.

Mira's cheeks were still flushed as she couldn't believe she had let herself get caught in such a situation. Nelly leaned in, planting a quick kiss on her neck, trying to ease the embarrassment.

Once Airi left, closing the door behind her, Nelly turned back to Mira with a playful grin. "Well, that was unexpected. But now that we have the privacy, where were we? I think we should definitely pick up where we left off."

Mira smirked, still a bit shy but excited. "Oh? Are you ready for round two?"
