Red velvet mug cake:
4 tbsp flour
4 1/2 tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
3 tbsp oil
3 tbsp buttermilk ( substitute sour cream or yogurt if not available)
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp red food colouring
Mix all the wet ingredients in a large mug until smooth.add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.Microwave for 50 secs
Top with cream cheese frosting.
Funfetti mug cake:
(Makes 2)
1 large egg
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup regular sugar
6 tablespoons self raising flour
Tiny pinch of salt
As many sprinkles as you like
Top with buttercream frosting
Mix all the ingredients bowl.divide into two large-ish mugs. Microwave each mug for 50 seconds. Enjoy (you could top with bubblegum buttercream if you wish)
Brownie mug cake:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp oil
Mix all the dry ingredients in a large mug and then add the wet ingredients and mix until well combined
Microwave for 1 minute and serve immediately with ice cream.
Choc chip cookie (yes an actual cookie) in a mug:
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp regular sugar
Roughly 3 drops vanilla extract
1 tbsp melted butter
Pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
Slightly less than a 1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp choc chips(or more if u want😜)
Mug
Combine both the sugars vanilla and salt in your mug.Add the egg yolk flour butter and choc chips. Microwave for 40-60 seconds make sure you don't go past 1 minute. Enjoy!
Lemon bars:
1 cup plain flour
1 tbsp lemon zest
3 tbsp powdered sugar
6 tbsp butter
9 by 9 inch dish
Whisk together the first 3 ingredients, add the butter and knead into a dough. Press this into the lightly greased dish and microwave for 2&1/2 - 3 minutes
Filling:
1 cup of sugar
2 tbsp lemon zest
1/3 cup lemon juice
3 eggs
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Whisk together the sugar, zest, juice and eggs. Add the flour baking powder and salt. Pour this over your base and microwave for 2 1/2 - 3 minutes. Dust with icing sugar if wanted and enjoy!
