Chapter 11

Once in trouble

"Wait a minute, husband." Su Gu quickly walked around the shack for a long time, and after making sure that there was no one around, he said in a low voice: "I can tell you now."

Gu Yuan was overjoyed. How could his husband be so cute?

"Agu knows. I was in a coma a few days ago, and I had a magical dream while I was half asleep. I can't remember the specific content of the dream, but I only remember that I learned a magic trick. I will show you."

Su Gu tried his best to use his brain to digest what his husband said, but this was both a dream and a fairy's story. Although he didn't understand, he didn't interrupt his husband.

But then, Su Gu's entire worldview was completely shattered. He saw Gu Yuan put his hand on the root of the jujube thorn. The jujube thorn, which had obviously been broken and wilted, came back to life at a speed visible to the naked eye, as if it had experienced a spring breeze, and bloomed small light yellow flowers.

Su Gu was stunned and couldn't even finish his words: "Husband... this, this is? A magic trick?"

Gu Yuan retracted his supernatural power, and the jujube thorn returned to its previous wilted state: "Agu can also understand it this way."

Su Gu patted his chest and muttered to himself, "No wonder my husband's wound healed so quickly, it must be the blessing of the gods."

He was shocked for only a moment before he quickly accepted the fact that Gu Yuan knew magic. He then began to be thankful that God had blessed his husband and given him such a powerful ability to allow him to survive this disaster. Before Gu Yuan could react, Su Gu knelt on the ground with a "bang" and touched his head to the ground, facing the distant mountains and the afterglow of the setting sun, devoutly and firmly.

He was thanking God and thanking the gods on Gu Yuan's behalf for bestowing him with magical powers.

Gu Yuan had no time to stop him. In fact, he still had a trace of uncertainty in his heart. He was afraid to see evasion, fear, or even covetousness on Su Gu's face, and he was afraid that he would stay away from him because of his uniqueness.

It’s not that he doesn’t trust Su Gu, he just doesn’t want to gamble with human nature.

However, it was not until the moment Su Gu kowtowed that he realized what Su Gu was doing. His husband was thanking God on his behalf and kowtowing to the so-called gods who taught him magic in his dream.

Bitter tears overflowed from his eyes, Gu Yuan lifted his clothes and knelt beside Su Gu, knelt devoutly towards the distance with the same posture. He did not believe in ghosts and gods, but at this moment he bent down willingly to thank the "god" who allowed him to travel through time.

"Thank God for blessing my husband."

"Thank God for letting my husband and I meet."

Two barely audible whispers disappeared in the afterglow of the summer night.

After a while, Su Gu pulled Gu Yuan up and said, "Husband, get up quickly. The ground is cold."

"Okay." The two supported each other and stood up. Gu Yuan leaned softly on Su Gu's shoulder. He was half a head taller than Su Gu, so this action was not out of place. "Agu, you can rest assured now. My injury is almost healed."
