On the way to the abandoned apartments I fight in, a girl bumps into me paying attention to her phone and not where she was going.

I look over at her about to tell her off but I couldn't.

I was speechless. She was gorgeous. She was light skinned , about my height, long blonde curly hair, perfect puckered lips, Green hazel eyes.

She looked just like a dream. The prettiest girl I had ever seen.

"Um I'm so sorry-" she stutters looking down shyly. Face as red as a tomato

While I'm still lost for words. Still trying to find the right words to say. I just stare at her confusingly.

"Whats your name?" she asks

"Symere" I say quietly finally turning my head away from her direction.

"Selina" she said to happy for my liking.
If she weren't so pretty It would've annoyed me.

I smile. I never smile what is going on.
My smile drops and I frown and look down.

"What's wrong, you were just happy" pfft happy? Yea right, try again. That was what I was thinking but I won't say it.

I want to get her number or socials or something but everyone I talk to I scare away.

I didn't wanna ruin her. She seemed to pure.

So I just ignored her and my thoughts as I just continued my walk on to the apartments.

She didn't stop though. She followed me.

Stopping me she says "why are you walking away. I enjoyed talking to you."

Even though we barely even talked?
I thought but didn't dare say aloud.

"You're interesting and I like that."

POV Selina

I said but to be honest I've seen him around and he is really interesting but that's not the reason I decided to talk to him.

He looks like he's hurting and I can't help but try to understand him.

Truth be told I bumped into him on purpose so I didn't have to just walk up to him but it is easier to talk to him than I had thought.

Seeing that he doesn't say much. So that wasn't necessary.

He walks off again so I just decided to follow him to wherever hes going. Keeping distance.

We stop in front of some trashy looking apartments. He can't live here right? I look around. They looked like no one had touched them for years.

He turns around. I had fell back still keeping an eye on him so that I could try and still talk to him without him blowing me off.

Im guessing he had heard my footsteps which made him turn around.

"Why're you following me?" he says looking upset.

"I'm just trying to talk to you, that's all" I say confused, losing confidence. I gulp.

"Leave me alone and go away. I don't wanna talk to you" he says. Words stinging me as if they were a bee.

I almost gave up but something made me wanna stay. Something made me believe he needed someone to stay and I don't know why.

"Okay, that's fine" I oblige. Hoping he'd feel sorrow but nothing.

"Im sorry I bothered you, bye". He walks into one of the apartments. I seen a crowd of people.

It looked like a party with no security so that meant I could easily get in. I wait a second. After I lose sight of him in the crowd I walk in.

Looking around it's pretty much empty except for a few boxes, a wooden chair, and a mat that's laid across the floor.

The living room and the kitchen seem to be connected and I didn't see any doors that lead to bedrooms or bathrooms.

I decided I'd stand since I didn't trust sitting anywhere with all of these people I didn't know here.

All of a sudden the crowd forms a circle and they start chanting something I couldn't comprehend.

I quickly come to the realization that this is a fight.

I wasn't too worried until I heard that voice. His voice. Symere's voice. Sounds as if he's the one fighting.

Pushing through the crowd to find what's happening. I see a furious Symere and someone unconscious on the floor of the raggedy apartment.

Everyone is chanting Symere's name and someone throws a brown duffel bag at his feet.

But he is just staring at me in looks of disbelief.

The crowd quickly disappeared so now it's just me and him the room.

"Symere, what's this?" I ask him.

"It doesn't  matter, you need to leave" he demands.

"But why-" he cuts me off

"please? Now. And you can't say anything to anyone. Understand?" He says looking seriously.

"Ok, fine but you have to tell me what this is. And why you're fighting." I demand.

"It's a fighting club but I need you to go" he points to the door.  But I didn't budge.

"This is dangerous. You shouldn't be here, Selina." He says now calmly.

"Why do you do this?" I asked.

"I do it for money, Selina"

"now can you leave" he asked calmly again. So I obliged and left.

I didn't really care that much as long as Symere was fine and he looks to be physically in good shape so I decided to leave it alone.

I had never spoke of it after that. I would simply just pray of his safety.

Symere's POV

Damn. I hope she doesn't say anything to anyone. This could definitely get us all arrested

No one noticed her walking in.

This is illegal to do in Atlanta Georgia so if anyone told anyone we'd all be in serious trouble if we had gotten caught.

I know she won't say anything though.

She didn't even look scared when she seen me fighting or when she seen the guy damn near lifeless on the floor.

Even all of the blood on my hands didn't scare her.

Steven comes back in as he sees her leave and picks up the guy I fought which I forgot his name and takes him elsewhere.

I wash my hands and leave after that heading home.
