♤♡Game night with friends♡♤

*On a crisp autumn evening, the air was filled with anticipation as Nick and Charlie prepared for a
night that promised laughter and pure enjoyment. The two had recently come out to all of their friends
and family.. well most of them apart from Nicks dickhead of a brother. Tonight, their shared secret would
transform Charlie's cozy and warmly-lit living room into a room filled with a sanctuary of acceptance and
happiness for one and another.*

Nick, with his ever-pressed smile, was a bustling presence in the kitchen, arranging snacks all along the
counters. Charlie, though outwardly composed, he felt a familiar knot in his stomach. He was so glad that he
Had Nick by his side-- Nick, who really understood Charlie's secret battles, the ones fought behind the curtain
Of his easy laughter

the doorbell rang, breaking Charlie's reverie. As he opened the front door, their friends all poured into the
Warm and cosy felt home, each carrying the warmth of friendship and a touch of mischief. Elle and Tao, hand
In hand,we're the first two the enter, their smiles radiant. Elles energy was so infectious. And Taos steady
Presence grounded her. The room buzzed with enjoyment as Tara and Darcy followed, their laughter like
A melody. Not long after that Imogen and Sahar chased eachtoher Inside the house, the inseparable duo, with
The strongest friendship anyone knew of. The chatter just became louder and louder and Issac entered quiet and
Peacefully.

Once everyone had settled in, Charlie suggested, " how about we play a game of spin the bottle?.. but let's keep
It pg this time yeah guys we don't want any incidents happening again after last time.." he laughed

The suggestion was met with cheers and nods of agreement. They all gathered in a large circle on the floor, the
bottle In the centre, it's potential for mischief gleaming in the soft light. The rules were simple -- each spin
would lead to a Question, a dare, or a confession..

As the game processed on, the room filled with laughter and gasps. Darcy dared Tara to perform her favourite
Dance move,which ended in a fit of giggles. Elle confessed her secret love for cheesy rom-coms, earning a
Playfully nudge from Tao. The game kept continuing on but.. when the bottle pointed to Charlie, he felt a moment
Of pain and anxiety rush through him. Nick, could tell that Charlie was panicking, so Nick p,aced a reassuring
Hand on his back.. "co- confession.," Charlie said softly, steeling himself.

The room grew silent as they saw a different side of Charlie.

His voice wavered as he spoke. "I've been dealing with alot recently.. with things..  tha-. I struggle with my
Mental health.. but please don't worry about me I've got all the help I need" *Charlie looked over at nick* "Nick
Has been my rock through it all."

The room became more quiet than the quiet, the weight oh his words settling around them all. But instead of
Awkwardness, there was understanding. A shared empathy that transcended words. Elle reached out, her gaze
Steady and kind. "Charlie, thank you so much for telling us all, just remember we are all one big family in our
friend group, so you can talk to any of us whenever and I promise Charlie we will all listen for however long you
May want or even need to talk for okay, we all love you charlie and your lucky to have such a trustworthy boyfriend" she
Spoke bringing tears to Nicks eyes

The night continued with renewed closeness, each spin of the bottle drawing them further into each other's lives,
Charlie felt so much more happier and comfortable now knowing that he dint have to worry about his friends finding
out about his silent struggles he battles.

As the evening wound down, and all of their friends began to depart and go back home, Nick and Charlie lingered by
The front door staring up at the dark sky where the stars were shining down brightly. Exchanging soft smile nick spoke
"You were so so so brave tonight, Charlie, and im so proud of you, I always will be" his eyes were filled with warmth

Charlie nodded, feeling the truth of those words. "I could never have done it without you nick.. I don't know what I
would Be doing right now if it wasn't for you..  you really have saved my life and I will forever love you for it" he replied, his
voice  Steady with gratitude

As the last of their friends waved goodbye, the room returned to its quiet state once again, the echoes of laughter still
In Charlie's head. Charlie and nick sat together on the couch, the nights warmth wrapping around them like
Some sort of comfort blanket. In gental silence, they found peace, knowing that whatever challenges or battles
Were ahead, they would always face them together, surrounded by the unravelling strength of friendship and true love
