I kept running, running for my life, and finally came to a stop when I saw a livestock farm.

I ran faster to reach inside the livestock farm. I entered the place where domestic animals were tied up. The room was all dusty and smelled like shit, but I couldn't go out. What if they were still following me? What if they are waiting for me once I am out? No no..

I sat in the farthest corner, and I started sobbing out of the amount of happiness once I realised that I was safe,,

I am finally safe!

Soon, I felt someone's gaze on me. I looked here and there, then I found a boy around my age sitting in the opposite corner, staring directly at me.

When I looked into his eyes, he immediately broke the eye contact and started looking here and there.

What should I do now? Should I talk to him?

For a few minutes, I did nothing but just stare at his face and body. He had many cuts on his face, a few bigger ones on his arms. His t-shirt had a few small holes. His eyes, his eyes were red and puffy.

Am I sick in the head that I find him attractive in this state?

He might be attractive, but I am not a fool to go near him. What if he is one of those gang members? I can't take risks.

I did the opposite of what I had thought.

He looked at me with wide eyes. I pressed myself more into the corner and kept chanting, 'please don't be one of them'.

- What are you doing here?

I gathered courage and questioned him.

He didn't reply for a good minute; just when I was about to give up and sigh, he said

- Sitting.

I ignored his obvious statement and asked,

- Were you crying?

He didn't say anything. He just sat there, zoned out. With all the strength in me, I got up and walked towards him. He flinched, shouting

- STAY AWAY!

I froze on my spot. His eyes softened a bit when he saw my shocked expression. I quickly turned around and sat on my previous spot. He got up and started walking towards where I sat.

- I-I didn't mean to ye-

He stopped talking and I just froze on my spot as we heard some people talking.

- Did you see someone here, kid?

I heard someone speak.

- No, only animals.

I brought my knees close to my chest. The dust on my knees entered my nose and..

Y/N NO NO NO..

As I was about to sneeze, someone pinched my nose. I looked up to see the guy from earlier pinching my nose with pleading eyes, whispering

- Please no..

As soon as the talks stopped, I slapped his hand away and sneezed loudly. He looked at me with wide eyes.

- Yo-

- Who are you guys?!
