Abby's pov
Me and Sophie were about to enter the class just when I saw James and Ayla making out in the corner since Miss.Sumaria hadn't reached the class, "WAIT! Sophie, wait umm I kinda forgot my book in my locker can you come with me to take it?" I ask since I know how she feels about James now, but I can't believe him.
That price of shit really thought he could make my bff fall in love with him and fracture her hurt then, "Noo, girl go get it yourself" Sophie says and before I could stop her again she enters the class, the horror on her face that feeling of punching someone on their face was really strong right now..
James's Pov
I didn't realize anyone was around until I heard the door open and saw Sophie standing there, her face going pale as her eyes darted from me to Ayla. She looked like she'd been slapped, caught off guard in the worst way. I knew she liked me; it's something I'd been aware of for a while now since the car incident .
"Wait, Sophie, it's not what it looks like—" I start, but the words fall flat because it kinda is what it looks like . I can feel Abby's glare from across the room, her fists clenched tightly as if she's barely holding back. Sophie doesn't say anything. She just stares, her face a mix of hurt and something else—maybe disappointment? After a second, she turns and walks out without a word. Abby follows her, but not before stepping close to me, her eyes blazing.
"You're such a jerk," she hisses. And then she's gone, leaving me standing there, Ayla beside me, but feeling like I'm on my own.I messes up big time and the worst part was Sophie knew that I know about her feelings..
