I wake up the next day and find my mom staring at me

Shit

My mom probably found out I was drinking, it wasn't my fault though...

"Soo...who was that boy?" she asks

"Which boy?" I reply, my memory was still foggy from yesterday.

"The guy who dropped you here yesterday, look Sophie you can tell me who your boyfriend is." My mom says with a mischievous grin on her face

"Mommmm" I groan and throw  pillow at her which she barely misses, "Ok, ok now get ready for school" My mom tells me, I wear a brown hoodie with a biege skirt and have my breakfast and run to school since I was running late anyways

**At School**

Abby runs to me " Hey sophieee" She practically shouts as we go up to our class, "Hey" I reply,

"How was last night?" Abby asks, smirking. "I saw you leave with James. Something juicy I should know?"

I groan, rubbing my temples. "Don't even start, Abby. I barely remember how I got home." Her grin widens. "Oh, I saw the whole thing. James looked... protective, to say the least. So, spill it! Did you guys talk?"

I sigh, hesitating. "I may have... said some things I shouldn't have. He knows I was kind of all over the place last night." Abby raises her eyebrows. "All over the place, huh? You mean like, about your feelings?"

I give her a look, and she gasps. "No way. You told him about... Daniel?" My cheeks heat up as I nod, looking away. "I might have mentioned both him *and* Daniel. It was a mess." Abby just laughs. "Classic Sophie. But hey, maybe it's a good thing! Now you know where you stand, right?"

"Or where I don't," I mumble, feeling a wave of regret. "I don't know what I was thinking, Abby. Now everything's just weird." "Come on, it's just one night! They'll get over it," Abby says reassuringly. "And maybe it's time to see if Daniel feels the same way."

I look at her skeptically, but a tiny flicker of hope sparks in me. "Maybe."
