I called out to our Sensei by his hero name in shock, but what stunned me the most was what our teacher did next. To prevent the drug from spreading to his Quirk factor, Eraserhead pulled out his knife and severed his right leg. That moment gave Shigaraki the opportunity to break free from me, Izuku, and Ryukyu's hold on him. He sent the three of us and Endeavor flying with his strength! I quickly used my flames to make sure I didn't get too far. Shigaraki managed to scratch out one of Eraserhead's eyes, but thankfully, Todoroki showed up and got the crusty bastard away from our Sensei with an ice wall. Izuku punched Shigaraki, shattering part of the ice wall, and I hurriedly propelled myself to Aizawa Sensei. Todoroki helped me cool down with his right side.

"After you protect him, then what?" I heard Shigaraki say. "Even if you so desperately try to delay it... the only thing that awaits you is destruction..."

Yuko Horikoshi's POV

"Tentacole, is Yagi Sensei alright?" I asked Shoji. "And what about the other heroes?"

"They're too far away, I can't sense them..." Shouji answered.

"Tokoyami... you better be okay." Sero muttered.

I stared at Shouji for a moment, then at Sero, before turning my gaze back in the direction where the heroes were fighting Gigantomachia. After I used my portals to get everyone to safety, the pro heroes fought the beast to make the drug work faster. However, that was easier said than done. Based on the commotion we heard, the pros were all taken down, and Hope, UA'S PE and History teacher, took on Gigantomachia. She made the ground quake, and I think she also used her Avatar Quirk to raise the temperature of the area, too. When I heard her scream, I became more worried. I wanted to use my Quirk to see what happened to her and the other heroes, but I was too dizzy and nauseous from overusing my Quirk.

"What gives, Shroom?" Kinoko questioned. "Shouldn't the anesthetic have worked, Shroom?"

"...Our efforts...weren't actually wrong, were they?" Mineta asked, a mixture of disbelief, doubt, and fear laced in his voice and facial expression. "Just like the Heroes' actions... I mean... look at this! In the end... it was all just worthless!!!"

Was Mineta right? Were our efforts all in vain?

Hikari Yagi's POV

Todoroki used his right side to help Endeavor cool off. Thanks to his assistance, Endeavor began to regain his firepower. I didn't waste a single second and helped Rock Lock and Manual take care of Eraserhead's wounds. Ever since Nabu Island, I lost the ability to heal with my water (AN: read TLOAH: Heroes Rising and the TLOAH: World Heroes' Mission to find out how that happened.), so I added first aid to my Hero costume like Todoroki. Izuku was too busy staring flaming daggers at Shigaraki with fury as tears streamed from his eyes. I'm angry at Shigaraki, too, but the last thing we need to do is let ourselves be blinded by negative emotions at a time like this. I noticed Shigaraki about to touch the ground with his hand to cause another widerange decay wave. Suddenly, his skin tore across his right upper arm and chest, causing blood to splatter out and revealing some of his muscle tissue. I was confused at first, but then it hit me. Gran Torino warned us that Shigaraki has been transplanted with the AFO Quirk. His body probably can't keep up with that overwhelming power...! Then, Shigaraki's regeneration kicked in, and he tried again in activating Decay.

"One touch to finally end this." Shigaraki declared.

Before Shigaraki could lay his hand on the ground in his second attempt, a sudden burst of dust obscured my vision. When I opened my eyes after getting the dust out, I gasped.
