"Hey Terry look at this letter" I hand my little brother the letter with my name on it
"Wow what is it is there one for me" he said excitedly
"I don't know i'll check" I picked up the stack of mail and searched through the letters until I came to one identical to mine only with Terry's name on it
"There is one for you dude. do you think these are from liz" I handed terry his letter and he handed me back mine
"I have no idea it doesn't look like it why would she send us 3 letters"
"That's a good point I guess. We should open them and find out"
I opened my letter and it read
To Ali shay Wilson
The purple room to the right of the hall
801 walkin street
London, England
Dear Mrs Williams,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of which craft and wizardry.
Students shall be required to report the chamber of reception upon arrival, the dates for which shall be duly advised. Please ensure that the utmost attention Be made to the list of requirements attached herewith.
We very much look forward to receiving you as part of the new generation of Hogwarts heritage.

I finished reading and I look up at terry
"i bet this is some prank from Abby"
just after I said that we heard stomping coming up the stairs and then we saw the door slam open and dad walked in
"how did you guys disappear like that?"
"what do you mean?" Terry said putting his letter behind his back
"never mind it doesn't matter what does matter is how rude you two were down there I cant believe you I didn't raise you two that way."
"you didn't raise us much at all." I mumbled
mine and Terrys mom died about 4 years ago when we were 9 it was a car accident one day when she was coming home from the store. it was really early in the morning and some guy had fell asleep at the wheel dad sorta checked out for about a year after that. then he met alexa and he started to get even more distant he would leave us with random baby sitters most nights so he could go see her without us and about 4 months ago he married her and we all had to move in together and everything has been pretty crappy sense then .
"ali I did the best I could after your mother died you know that." he got significantly more quiet
"whatever just tell your favorite daughter to stop trying to prank me and Terry with this dumb stuff." I handed him the letter
"ali you know Abby is not my favorite daughter I love you just as much and you know that." he looked at the letter "what even is this any way."
" I don't know ask Abby." I walk over to the bed and sit down.
" Abby! could you come here please."
"why?" Abby called back up to him
"just for a minute please" he called back to her
we heard her coming up the stairs slowly until she finally got there
"What do you want" she said with that dumb smug look she has
"Did you write these letters" dad handed Terry's letter to her
"No that's so stupid who would waste their time"
"All right thank you you can go now"
He handed me back the letters and told us that we should just forget about it and that it was one of our classmates pranking us or something but we couldn't let it go non of our friends were dedicated enough to make a prank like this someone did this for a reason. But what could it be it couldn't possibly be legitimate could it?
It's been a week since me and Terry received the mysterious letters we haven't been talking about it much but its been all i've been thinking about. one day while the whole family was sitting at the dining table eating breakfast there was a knock at the door.
"Ali would you please go answer the door" alexa asked me
I got up from the table and walked to the door and what i saw would change my life forever.
