She was back in the quiet chamber of the Tree of Magus, the dim light casting long shadows across the walls. Zoe was trembling, her small frame shaking as she faced the darkness in the corner of the room. A Pouncer, hidden in the shadows, growled softly, its glowing eyes fixated on Zoe. The fear was suffocating, and Zoe's breathing became erratic.

"Zoe," Lucius' voice came gently, pulling her attention away from the creature's terrifying gaze. His tone was steady and comforting.

"Zoe, focus on your breathing. Let go of the things beyond your control. Take a deep breath and feel every part of your body. Channel your magic from your mind, and from your heart. Feel it through your veins, reaching your limbs. Close your eyes and erase all distractions. Forget about your surroundings. Focus on your breathing."

Lucius' words were a lifeline in the midst of chaos. Zoe felt her heartbeat slow, and the wild panic began to ebb away. She concentrated, feeling the familiar warmth of her magic pulsing within her. Her breathing became more even, and the darkness no longer seemed so overwhelming.

"Good," Lucius had said, his voice full of quiet pride. "Now, remember, Zoe... even the smallest flame can burn away the shadows."

Those words echoed in Zoe's mind as she hovered above the battlefield, the memory of Lucius' teachings pushing back the terror. She let out a slow breath, feeling the flow of her magic spreading through her body. When she opened her eyes, they glowed with a radiant white light. Zoe extended her arms towards Talon, and a surge of energy burst forth, enveloping her in a pulsing, purple aura.

The battle below came to a standstill as Clara, Kuro, and Seraphine all turned their gazes towards Zoe, astonished. Even Talon's monstrous form paused, sensing the immense power radiating from the young girl.

Zoe focused all of her will on Talon's mind, her astral projection launching itself towards him with an almost tangible force. Her consciousness collided with Talon's twisted thoughts, and for a moment, it felt like she was drowning in his hatred and rage. But Zoe pressed on, her resolve unwavering.

As she took control, Talon's body went rigid. His demonic features began to flicker and waver, and for the first time, genuine fear flickered in his eyes.

Clara and Kuro saw the opportunity and prepared to strike, but Seraphine's warning stopped them in their tracks.

"Don't!" she shouted. "If you kill him while Zoe's inside, it could kill her too!"

The tension was suffocating. Clara's hands trembled with indecision—she didn't want to hurt Zoe, not after everything they had been through. But then, in a voice strained with effort, Talon spoke.

"Do it!" he growled, but the voice wasn't his—it was Zoe's.

Kuro looked at Clara, silently pleading for her decision. Clara's heart ached with fear, but she met Kuro's gaze and gave a determined nod. They had to trust Zoe, just as Lucius had trusted them.

"Do it. Trust me." Zoe's voice urged again, more firmly this time.

Kuro pulled out the largest and most powerful arrow in his quiver. He took a deep breath, aiming directly at Talon's heart. His fingers hovered over the bowstring, and he gave Clara a fleeting glance, silently praying for this to work. Clara extended her hands, her fingers glowing with telekinetic energy.
